    Great Product and Innovation

I spend several hours a day on the computer for work and have experimented with similar blue light filtering glasses, but never felt quite comfortable. This one has been great thus far, super conformable and easy to charge. I love the charging dock, keeps it elevated and off a surface. Calls come thru very clearly with no echo and no complaints of the person on the other line not being able to hear me clearly. I had a Bose pair previously and a frequent complaint was that I sounded like I was underwater when talking. The volume quality when listening to music surprised me, much more immersive than I anticipated. It’s on par with my air pods. I definitely recommend!

    Almost there…

While smart glasses like this have a cool concept, Alexa devices can hear a command from nearly any room, so the glasses are obsolete. What these glasses need are a HUD for searching and data. If it connected to your Android or Apple metrics, that would be cool too. Maybe data overload, but would be cool to “silence” that data.

    Very stylish and functional

I’m very impressed with this version of smart frames. The partnership with Carrera also works. The sunglasses look great and nobody can tell they are anything other than regular sunglasses while I’m wearing them. Here are a few impressions after a couple of weeks of wearing them:Audio: sound quality is very good. It lacks bass when compared to AirPods Pro but you are not wearing anything in your ear, which is very nice. At mid volume, nobody around you can hear music or your calls. If you put at full volume, people about 3 ft away can hear a faint sound. 8/10Call quality: just like the audio above, the quality is very good. The mic is clear and it filters ambient sounds better than my AirPod Pros. Given this is also an Alexa device, that’s good news. 10/10Functionality: I must say, I can’t work the buttons on the frame too well (big fingers) but I’m yet to need them. You put the glasses on and they just work. If you need to adjust anything like volume, you just ask Alexa. It controls your phone, opening certain apps. More functional than Siri with AirPods. I was able to make/change appointments, get directions, calls people and get answers using just voice. 10/10Privacy: I’m glad Amazon didn’t go the Meta/Rayban route and kept this without cameras. I’d not like to walk around with a camera pointed to everyone. When the mic is recording voice, you see a blue light on the corner of your eye. Very nice to check when it’s on, without being intrusive. While it has a mute button for Alexa, I’m yet to consistently find it while I’m wearing the glasses. 9/10Charging: it comes with a very weird looking wireless stand. It takes a could of tries to figure out how to out the glasses on it. It’s nice charging is all wireless, it works for hours (with calls and listening to music) without need to recharge (I have not done a full battery life test yet). I wish it had a more mainstream charger but not a dealbreaker. 8/10Quality: I got the Carrera version and it’s a very high quality and stylish product. It fits nicely, lightweight, and looks the part. 10/10Overall: given the price, quality and functionality, I’d give this a 9/10.

Yes, they work with Siri AND Alexa

Love the 80s flair. Great lenses. Love being able to take calls, make calls and send texts (via Siri) without hunting for earbuds etc. Speaker sound quality great on calls, decent on music but definitely needs more base. Overall stoked. Would definitely buy again.

    Embarrassingly Bad Amazon and Carrera

It didn’t pair it didn’t work. Ridiculously bad support and no clear instructions beside the unhelpful monologue about Alexa finding your device. Nope.A complete waste of time,Lens quality is ok, extremely dark. A premium product like this should work out of the box and should have had way more user testing and feedback. Truly a missed opportunity and now I’ll buy another pair of Meta glasses – which hit it out which hit it out of the park. Let’s work together and release products that work and satisfy and delight customers Amazon. Test test test before you release, and resolve issues fast. Dont make us hunt for answers that don’t exist and then get frustrated and disappointed. Too darn bad. My suggestion is stay away until version 2 or whatever, way not worth the premium at this time.

    Stylish & Functional

My new favorite pair of sunglasses. The ability to listen to music or make calls without having earbuds jammed into your ear is amazing. These are also great if you already have echo devices and connected “smart” products. I use these over all of my other sunglasses. Great for wearing while walking the dog or just out and about running errands. I expected the frames to be somewhat bigger than normal sunglasses but they aren’t. You can’t even tell there is some magical tech inside. The only problems is that I love these so much now I need to buy regular frames without a tint so I’m not that guy wearing sunglasses inside. Great product!

    Impressive

Black & Gold Cruiser glasses are impressive out of the box. They are big for my face, but saw a presentation that says it is the trend now. I like the fact that they turn on on wearing, off on closing, and charging is easy by placing on stand. However, I would still prefer another direct usb port for travel. Wanted to use for prescription, but black and gold cruiser come with sunglasses. Volume and sound was decent. I have used Bose and Meta. These are comparable.

    Overall pretty decent

I have the Cruisers with Transitions lenses in thm and I do like them, but they could use some updates in the software department, which i believe they will address. I bought them about a month ago and it took 3 weeks to get my lenses made and now they are $50 dollar cheaper which is agitating and makes me worry about getting a replacement pair with the extended warranty in the future. There is also no way to purchase a spare charger which would be really helpful so i can leave one at work, at home and in the car. They are kinda heavy to wear every day but they look great. Sound quality is better than expected, bass isnt great but the clarity nice.

    Cutting Edge tech

Not only are these shades stylish but they are comfortable. I love how I can have a conversation or listen to Spotify by just wearing the echo frames. I love the wireless charger.

    Improved Sound and Stylish

Frames are quality made, light weight, and stylish. Many compliments with the is new design. Also, the sound quality has improved from the second generation Echo frames to the third generation, which these are based off of. Longer battery life and easier adjustment to the frames around the ears.

    Great for work

I purchased the Echo Frames a couple weeks ago and have been loving them. I’ve bought blue light frames before but never really stuck with wearing them… until now. I work remotely and sit in front of my screen for 8-10 hours per day. They are saving my eyes but also helping me be more productive. They connect to my laptop and I’m able to take calls and zoom meetings using the built in speaker. My husband also works from home and we can be near each other but he can’t hear my calls. Pretty amazing.I love being able to turn on and off lights in other parts of the house. I also set timers and reminders throughout the day using the echo frames.Easy to set up. I like that they come with a wireless charging stand.Highly recommend!

    Loooooove!

I’ve been waiting for these glasses since the announcement and it’s so worth it. From the moment of opening the box to connecting the other my phone, I was absolutely amazed how beautiful these glasses are. Set up is super easy, music is amazing and there is nothing inside your ears! Phone calls are so much easier too!

    Estoy decepcionado

    Great smart glasses

I’ve really been enjoying the echo frames. They’re especially amazing for working from home, which has been my main use. They’ve changed how I take meetings and listen to audio from my computer and phone.Prescription: I need prescription reading glasses and I was able to get lenses inserted easily. The optician didn’t have trouble installing them, but it was nice to know that if they broken while in the their hands that Amazon would replace them. One recommendation: if you only need a reading prescription but want to use the frames all the time, you can get progressives made with zero for distance and your readers below. That way, when you look up there is no prescription.Productivity: I leave them charging on my desk and use them during the work day. It is VERY nice to not have to constantly put my headphones in for meetings and calls. I often forget I have the glasses on and am then pleasantly surprised that my meeting audio isn’t blaring out of my computer speakers and bothering the family. The audio is surprisingly clear and crisp and feels more “around you”. I actually like it better than my AirPods. The audio does bleed out slightly, but so little that even on full blast people around you can’t hear what’s being said, and that’s in a dead silent room.Mic: The microphone also works really well. I tested it by recording myself on Zoom and it sounded clear, and I’ve yet to have someone on a call say they couldn’t hear me. It doesn’t pick up random noises around me.Buttons: The buttons are also easy to use. I never have trouble finding them or adjusting the volume.Bluetooth: One of my favorite features is the easy hand off between two Bluetooth devices. I can go right from a Zoom on my computer to getting a call on my phone without having to switch between devices.Comfort: The frames are also quite comfortable. I wear them for 8+ hours a day without issue, although I take breaks when I step away from my computer.Charging: They charge easily on the included stand. I’ve never had an issue placing them right and the battery lasts for hours. You just need to charge them quickly while getting coffee and they’ll last all day. And, most importantly of course, they look really stylish. You would spend more at the optician for non-smart frames that look this good, so might as well have the smart features.Overall, easy choice, especially for work productivity.
