What a Classy Phone!
I’ve read some reviews that complain about “all the plastic” The only plastic that I’ve seen on this phone is on the handset. The mouth piece, ear piece and the section that you hold onto the handset is designed to look like bakelite. I hope we are talking about the same phone. Also, some reviews state that this is not a working phone. Well let’s see what we can do about that…IF YOU HAVE A LANDLINE IN THE WALL, JUST PLUG THE PHONE IN…….. ORPLUGGED IT INTO MY VERIZON WIRELESS PHONE MODEM AND IT WORKS PERFECTLY–NOTE: THE BELLS UNDERNEATH DO NOT ACT AS THE RINGER,IT HAS A RING TONE WHEN A CALL COMES IN. HAND SET AND RINGER VOLUMES ARE ADJUSTABLE. LOVE THIS PHONE-I think that most Wi-Fi modems have a “phone line in” jack even though you do not have to pay for the phone service. Check it out! I have sold quite a few of these phones and I’ve never had a complaint. Some of you may have defective phones and I suggest you contact the company that you purchased the phone from.Set the phone up and ENJOY!

Nice landline conversation piece!
Beautiful design and is a nice addition to the home. The sound on the receiver is slightly muffled as if you were n a bathroom, you hear an echo. Overall it is a cool replica.

cheaply made for expensive price
Poor quality. Phone has chronic issues for being a little over a year old. Won’t hang up, static clicking, and hand set is out of balance. Always have to unplug everything and start over. Don’t waste your time or money on this one. No warranty and not worth a tenth of what I paid for it!

I love this phone
I love this phone! I was trying to get a similar reproduction circa 1920 but, after ordering it from several sources, I was contacted just as many times to be informed it was sold out or backordered for months. This one looks virtually identical (at least, to my eye), and I’m happy to say I received it on the due date (less than a week) in spite of a raging snowstorm. It performs exactly as it’s supposed to (very simple, just the basics), and I just love looking at it. I also like the security of having a cabled phone during electrical outages.

the phone is just what I wanted, it looks better than the stick phone I used to have. The only thing that was wrong with it, was the part where the speaker is came a part, but was easily glued.

Period chic with functionality.
We were looking for a period phone to enhance a home office and this was one of many selections offered on Amazon. The reviews and size were the deciding factors. It is lightweight and plastic, so it is easy to clean. The sound is clear and the push buttons work easily. We think it looks great in our “Downton Abbey” style office.

Just a replica but so cute who cares?!
I collect antiques and have many authentic antique phones. This one obviously is a replica, but it’s so cute that it doesn’t even matter. I love it. Looks great in my guest bedroom right next to all my authentic antique pieces. I like it so much I ordered another for a different room.

Great experience with hwo fast everything was shipped and how well it was packed. Only thing I would want to give it 5 stars is the ring tone … it sounds like a modern digital phone, not an antique one. Even though the wheel makes such a sound. Not sure why that would work for a call either.

Good product, one minor issue
Very cute, nostalgic phone. Works quite well. One issue: hard to read the numbers in low light as they are printed rather dark.

The phone looks amazing and it works perfectly. The ringer is loud (Brittany neophone) which is OK for me. I have the phone located in the living room. It is easy to hear when I’m in another room.

I always wanted a similar phone since I saw one on my trip to Europe and finally got it. I can’t confirm if it works as I need to connect a land line but it is a beauty.

Great vintage looking phone…especially with the correct handset cord!
Beautiful, old fashioned phone at a reasonable price. Out of the package it came with a plastic coil cord to the handset. That is really the only thing that belies it’s antique look. And it can be fixed, if you’re handy. I took a spare 6′ long black cloth cell charger cable and put the RG9 modular connector (removed from the coil cord) on the end that plugs into the phone body. At the handset, I cut off the usb-c plug, keeping the molded strain relief part, just moved it back on the wire till I had 3″ of wire protruding. a little trimming and it fit in the handset hole with a dot of glue. Two of the usb wiring colors don’t match the phone wire. I substituted white and blue for red and black. Voila, warranty effectively voided. Cost= $0.00. Personal pleasure= Priceless!

Best phone ever!!
I was hesitant to purchase any vintage phones. I figured they would be more for decoration only. But this phone was at a good price and was returnable, so I bought it. I LOVE IT!!! The sound is extremely clear, better than any cordless phone; it is high quality made; and looks totally cool! I am disabled so I can’t afford to spend $100+ for one phone, let alone two phones. But, if I were still working, I would buy one for each room! This is my birthday present to myself 🙂 and I’m extremely happy with it!

Cute and functional
The phone is fun as it is a functional novelty. Looks nice and works well so far, we just received it today so will update later. Now for the cons: pricey for the quality. The description states the materials consist of metal and brass, however there is a good deal of plastic in the make up, much more than you would expect from the photo and description, this lends to the light weight. The bell at the bottom is not functional as a ringer. The ringer is very common sounding ie. typical office phone, electric tone which is unfortunate given the vintage vibe you are going for when purchasing this phone. Although I listed negatives, these really aren’t that big a deal, and again the phone is cute, sound quality for calls is very clear. I would recommend but may have passed over buying if I knew the amount of plastic as I passed on the cheaper resin versions.

Great and Okay quality phone
This phone is great but after about 3 weeks in use I got this very high pitch noise that only happened once that started to blast on the speakers and sometimes the call would cut out but I use this everyday so I should expect some manufacturing glitches but other than those rare occurance I would give this product a 5 out of 5 the design looks great!!! The electronic ringer xould have been manufactured better too but I just still love this product!!!

Did Not Work!
The phone looked great when I took it out of the box but it made of cheap plastic and did not work. Was properly connected and there was no ring tone or volume of any kind. Tried to dial out on landline and nothing. It was a dud. I would not recommend purchasing this product as it is not worth the money if you want a real working phone.

Looks great!
Looks amazing in my foyer. A touch of old world for the modern day. Our décor is a mixture of ancient and modern – so this fits right in. Obviously I don’t need a landline these days (who does?) but our internet provider forces us to have one. So. If I must have one, it might as well look fabulous. And this one does!

Why?
This phone would have been perfect except for the AWFUL ring. It sounds nothing like an actual telephone, let alone a vintage one. I almost returned it because of how bad the ringtone is. Why they went with a fake ringtone instead of using the actual bells that are ON THE PHONE is beyond me, let alone the HORRIBLE one they chose. The sad thing is that if you turn the handle, it makes the perfect ringing sound. Whoever chose to use a terrible fake ring tone needs to get a different job.

Beautiful Vintage-Look Phone
First off, let me say that I do love this phone with its vintage look – it goes well with my vintage-looking desk! However, the reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that it is very light-weight – if I pull on the cord the slightest bit, the phone will slide right off the phone stand. The other negative is the ring tone, which is very shrill; I was expecting an old-style telephone ring sound, but this sound is really unpleasant. Plus, you can’t lower the sound – it’s either on or off. So I turned off the ringer and instead use the sound on my other phone, which does have a volume control. All of that said, tho, I would still have bought this phone even if I had known all of that beforehand, as it is a great-looking old-fashioned style of phone.

Cheaper-Looking in Person
This phone feels like it’s made of lightweight plastic. I was expecting a “heftier” phone that mimicked an old-fashioned phone. Instead, it’s a visual replica without the sturdiness of a real, old-fashioned phone. Way overpriced for what it is.2, maybe 2.5 Stars.

Looks great and is functional
This is almost exactly what we wanted. It looks great and it is functional (can make and receive phone calls). Rings a bit too loud even on low setting. It would have been much better liked by us if it would have had a metal base; the plastic base is not too bad and does not feel nor look cheap. Overall, quite happy with the phone.
