    You Might Be Brighter Than You Think

    This lamp, with a 60w (equivalent) and LED bulb, works very well for illuminating our 500sq.ft. deck. One undocumented advantage to this is that LED lights are “cold”; that is, they don’t generate any infrared light. That means most flying bugs (like mosquitos) can’t “see” that bright light very well, if at all. That makes it more effective than those ugly yellow “bug lights”. But… it also means that now the brightest and warmest object on the deck is… YOU!! Put another small lamp, or even a fragrant candle, somewhere away from you and the little dive-bombers will flock around it instead.

    Check to make sure all parts are there

    This product came with missing parts which I did not realize until time of install, which is outside of the return window. Otherwise it looks okay for the price, which is the only reason I am giving 3 stars.

    Plain and Simple

    No-frills light fixture out of the box. Works just fine and is more than adequate for general applications. I wired a cheap photo sensor to it’s base converting it to a dawn/dusk fixture. Photo sensors don’t last forever and adding it separately rather than purchasing a more expensive light with it included makes it more serviceable longer term so I won’t have to necessarily replace the entire fixture for just a bad sensor.

    Way better than expected

    I needed to replace a broken outdoor light that is over an access panel on the back of my house. I couldn’t find anything I really liked in the 50 to 80 dollar range, and didn’t want to spend big money for a mainly unseen light, so I figured I’d just get a cheap one temporarily until I found something else, now after I installed it I’ll probably just end up keeping this one.It comes with all the hardware you need to install it.It is limited to 60 watt bulbs, however the back side of the enclosure is reflective so it does a good job boosting the light.

    No Experience: Did it myself in Five Minutes

    The only hard thing about installing this is translating the installation language in the instructions. You cannot go wrong. Be brave and do it yourself. That’s how you learn. Turn the power off. Wear rubber soled shoes. Use a step ladder not a chair. 🙂

    Great outdoor light

    The light is good. I am using it for under the deck. It looks ok and works well. Not a lot of rain gets under the deck therefore the material is fine, not rusted yet. It didn’t arrive with the bulb, you have to purchase that separately, but it works well for the area I’m using it.

    simple sconce lights for outdoor porch…work great.

    These work just fine…were easy to install…but if you are wanting a lifetime light…these are not for you…..These will age over time…several or maybe even many year…,the glass is loose in the frame…and will rattle with high winds…and maybe? be damaged in those crazy winds. Our choice was to do a lower cost update to a porch and with our expectations we are very happy with them .

    I LOVE THIS FIXTURE!!!

    I have an older Mobile home that I’m updating. My screen room/ enclosed porch had a light fixture dated back to the 1970s, that was hard plastic. The porch has a single light switch that’s located inside the front door. When I used that door, I’d have to leave the light on or unlock the door in the dark to get to the switch.This fixture was very easy to install, it took about 5 min. and although it’s make of metal and glass, I was able to use a motion sensor bulb. Now when I open the door, the light comes right on and when I leave the porch, the light goes off. The fixture is well-made. I see them selling by other companies for twice the price.I will buy a few more, one for me and one for my neighbor.

    Very small but nice quality

    This was such a nice affordable upgrade for my home. When I purchased them they were only $7. I would take note that they are very small. just about the size of a standard light bulb. The product photos make it look bigger than it is. I will probably get something bigger later on. They came with all the necessary hardware to install.

    Nice outdoor lamp, for the price, even nicer

    Can’t believe this was less than $10. Included hardware is nice, everything went together well, fit and finish is solid. Aluminum wiring is meh but there is a low draw on it (<10w). Be mindful of this when installing in applications where there may be a higher draw.

    Small but nice

    I bought two of these, for my front door and porch. It was easy to install, and sturdy. I like the style, but it’s pretty small, so I don’t love it for my front door. I’m considering putting one on either side of the door, but that would mean drilling and pulling wires…

    Although the glass is plastic, you can’t tell it. Just what I needed for replacement, and I used the LED dust to dawn bulb, which was a lot cheaper than buying the dusk to dawn fixture.

    It is built well, inevitably it will get hit by my kid’s errant basketball shots. It’s all pressed sheet metal so I’m hopefully it can spring back or be bent back. For the price US $10 it’s perfect for the location and looks small but very nice. A smart bulb in it fits great and doesn’t stick out below the glass

    Great price on a very nice porch light. My husband easily installed it and we’re very pleased. We put a 60-watt LED bulb in it, which we also purchased from Amazon, and it is much brighter than a standard bulb. More security for the front of our house without gouging our budget. Practical, pretty, and a big improvement over what we had before.

    Easy to install.

    If you are looking to upgrade your outside lighting without breaking the bank then these lights might do the trick. I paired them with the Dusk to Dawn Light Bulbs to have ease of use, without spending more on dusk to dawn sensors on the light fixtures. The lights are easy to install. Turn off breakers to start and after removing old lights install enclosed vertical bracket to wire mold. Once that is done you can adjust the horizontal bracket and secure to vertical one. Line up adjustable bolt (remembering to shorten bolt to accommodate top acorn nut). Match white wires with white, black with black and secure with enclosed wire connectors. Secure grounding wire under screw with designated “G”. Tuck all wiring in wire mold. Slide housing over both bolts and tighten acorn nut. Add clear caulk to housing and any areas that might let water penetrate. Screw in dusk to dawn bulbs. Turn breaker back on. Flick light on and it should go on and then immediately off. Once it’s night (dusk, of course) they will stay on until dawn (yes, morning). No more turning light off and on. Ta dah!

    Great simplistic look

    For those saying they weren’t expecting them to be tiny … come on, look at the price. I expected them to be smaller than the typical outdoor light. I bought them because of the price and because of the price I knew they would be a little smaller than normal. These lights are perfect for a small house or lake house. I actually like these light on our house and plan on keeping them.Very easy to install.
