    I’m a Fan!

Love this guy. Runs virtually 24/7. Moves a good amount of air. Rotates, tips, programmable… Just one thing! Who was the genius who thought it was a good idea to use dark grey lettering on a black background?? Nightmare trying to read modes, speeds, etc. in low light. If you got good eyes, this is the one for you!! LOL

    FLOOR FAN FOR THE SUMMER

I love this little floor fan! It is a boost to the air conditioning! It is very well made. So easy to get it put together. Added like is it’s VERY QUIET and not noisy!!! Even has a remote which I don’t have to get out of bed to adjust the fan speed!! Thought I would not even use it but use it all the time!!

    Definitely moves the air!

I use speeds 1&2 for sleeping on a 65-70* summer’s night. Use 3 & 4 for efficiently circulating cooler air from outside when the sun goes down. Compact and appealing design. ONLY drawback is that the tilt has preset angles. You can carefully adjust to get it to stay between the clicks, but I wish it were already designed that way. Pretty sure that I may be purchasing the pedestal version for a main room. Waiting on a promotion…

    Very quiet and yet powerful

I was surprised at how quiet and powerful this small fan is. It can barely be heard on speed 2 or 3 and yet it can be felt around the whole room. Recommended.

    Keeps off mosquitoes

I am in Florida my roommate doesn’t like the thermostat set too low at night. So this helps keeping me cool instead. Plus I am a light sleeper so I like that it is very quiet on low. Plus big bonus it seems to keep this pesky mosquitoes off me at night. No more itchy bumps in the morning

    Love this Fan

I got this fan because it’s light weight and small. I trusted that for the money it would do the job. Not only does it work great, It works so well to come out cold air that I bought a second one two days later. It’s a little pricey for the size but it works better than a larger fan. I’m going to get a 3rd one for my home office. This cuts down on my having to use air conditioning as much, being able to keep my temperature to 78. I have a large house so it gets expensive for air conditioning.

moves a lot of air for a small fan

“Air Circulator” really? Give me a break. it’s a fan. a really nice one but still a fan.Has all the features I need, including a remote control, which I didn’t need but is nice to have. This little fan really moves a lot of air and is reasonably quiet. much quieter than a box fan.My son liked it so much we got another one for him.

    Love it – noise free!

I love this fan, it works great, it tilts and rotates but my favorite part is the fact that it is so quiet. I swear I can hardly tell it on. The remote control makes it even nicer. I did have an issue after about 60 days, but Customer Service is fabulous. They restored my faith in the company and I would absolutely purchase from them again.

    Quiet and powerful

Living in Arizona and this lil fan helps circulate the air in my home office. It is great even during my call and meetings. It does not have that buffering sound that other fans do that have the same amount of air output. Ease of cleaning just adds to the convenience of this fan. Would purchase again for other rooms.

    Great Customer Service

I’m a Senior Citizen and bought the fan to use every night because of medical reasons. The fan was perfect, very quiet but stopped working after a 3 months so I contacted DREO, the fan company. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast they got back with me. Tracy was very nice and very helpful. I sent the information she needed and they are sending me a new fan. I highly recommend DREO.

Compact, quiet, power fan with nice features

I needed more airflow to cope with a hot house when my ac was struggling so I purchased the “smart” version of this model locally for my living room and was very satisfied so I ordered this one for my bedroom (didn’t realize it wasn’t “smart” and wouldn’t link to their app but that’s my fault). It’s simple, well made, powerful for its size, and quiet enough to have on while I’m sleeping. I love that the display goes completely dark when in use and is simple and easy to read when changing modes. I tend to leave mine on auto so as it gets warmer it automatically speeds up the fan to provide more airflow. My tiniest gripe is that the remote is very difficult to use in the dark since only the power button has tactile bumps and the symbols are not raised nor do they glow. Other than that these fans are great and I would definitely buy from this brand again.

    Absolutely perfect!

Did not bother with remote or timer function, sorry. I’m so proud of myself for picking this fan from the hundreds available! It is quite decorative sitting on my desk, it is totally silent. As it rotates on number two power, it cools the room very nicely day and night. Also, it can be oriented upward or downward, especially important for the dogs: whether lounging on the sofa or on the floor. Even with the air conditioning on, this fan makes the room much cooler with a refreshing breeze.

    Good Performance, Odd Creak

Fan performance is great for the size. Speed 1 is a small gushing sound much quieter than the ambient A/C units humming outside all night. 2-4 is audible but you do feel the breeze more. Best to circulate and exchange the air then dial it down to 1 for peace. The base creaks when it turns all the way to one side and returns. Not really audible at speed 2 if I’m not hearing for it specifically. At 1 it is though just because of how quiet it is. Every turn and return has the sound. I don’t use it while sleeping and any background noise would drown it out so not bothering to exchange. This would really be 4.5 stars in essence. The creak may be a big deal to others but not sure if it’s a common thing or perhaps I got a dud. Not worth the effort to play the exchange game, will see if it has issues before the standard warranty is up.The non-wifi remote is great. I can direct it as per my sitting location. Interaction sounds can be muted, the display turns on and then off. It beeps when you plug it into a new outlet/plug but nothing else afterwards when powering on/off.

    Great little fan

My ac went out and couldn’t get an appointment for another week. The weather in NJ has been unforgiving, and while the ceiling fans in my house help it’s not nearly enough. This little fan is very powerful. It’s good quality, strong air flow, and quiet. The remote is an added bonus. I’ll definitely be using this even when the ac gets fixed.

Very powerful, does what it promises

I bought the smaller version of this fan and liked it so much I purchased the 11 inch fan. I like that it is sturdy- it won’t fall over and the breeze it produces is excellent. It is quiet as well. It rotates and tips up and down. I considered buying a less expensive fan but I’m very glad to have bought this one. Highly recommend it.

Quite and an improvement over my Woozoo desk fan

I have never bought Dreo fans before and needed a better desk fan than my Woozoo. Read many of their reviews and decided to try it. This one is 13 ins and moves a lot more air than my Woozoo, is quite and sleek looking. I bought it for my home office that is 12×15 ft and it works perfect. If you don’t need a Wi-Fi desk fan, this one is a keeper! Very happy with my purchase.

  19. Salt Life

    5.0 out of 5 stars

I’m never buying a different brand.

I have become picky about my fans. Most fans that I’ve bought seem to be better noise generators than air circulators, and they tend to operate really well for a few months before throwing themselves off the “performance cliff” (grinding, squeaking, knocking) and then dieing in dramatic fashion. I’ve been a Vortex fan for years, and have had good luck with the brand. It has been the only brand that I’ve had good luck with. However, I’m completely sold on this brand.Best things about this fan: 1) brushless motors; 2) much better at circulating air than making noise. If you don’t know anything about brushless motors, know that they are much better than the industry standard of motors with brushes.I predominently use my fan on low (#1 setting out of 4 speeds), which would have been the equivalent of #3 speed on my previous fan. Although I’d like one more speed that’s lower than the current low speed, I’m not dissatisfied. High (speed 4) will definitley blow papers off any desk. The remote does not require you to point it at the fan, which is fantastic. I always thought this feature should be a necessity and standard on all things, but many devices do not have this feature, so I’m very happy to have it with this fan. It’s got a timer that goes up to 4 hours. Although a timer that goes up to 12 hours would have been nice, I’m not dissatisfied. The ossilation feature of this fan is not directly correlated with the speed of the blades because it’s not a mechanical linkage, but a separate motor. Although there’s no speed control for the oscilation, which means it goes back and forth at the same speed all the time, it takes some getting used to because most fans speed up the oscillation as blade speed is increased. But, I’m not dissatisfied.I only use the fan in one position/angle. I have not pitched the fan upward or downward. And, that is mostly because the up-/down-positions on the fan are so widespread that I can’t the fan to hold the angle that I want. I wish it had a knob on the side with a reduction gear that would allow me to “dial in” the angle that I want, while also have enough “friction” or “hold” that the fan would hold its position indefinitely. But, I make do and I am not dissatisfied.Ultimately, this is by far the best fan I’ve ever owned. If I had a need for more fans, I would certainly buy more from this brand.

I really like the remote feature

I didn’t buy this fan for the remote feature. I really never thought I would use it. However, I’ve used it a lot. It’s easy to turn on with the remote, set the speed of the fan turn on the oscillation. So the remote is a very good feature and one I’ve consider when I buy another fan.Does it move the air? Yes, it really does. I thought for the size, it might not move a lot of air, but it world great. It’s small than a Vornado that I have and I have and thinks it moves at least as much air. Unlike a lot of fans where you can’t feel the air movement unless you’re inches away from them, this really moves the air feet away from it.After buying this one, I would definitely buy another from this company. The only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t have a handle so it’s not that easy to pick up and move. Still, it is moveable without much trouble. However, the air flow makes up for that.Great fan. Would buy this brand again.

This little fan is awesome. It moves air so well in the bedroom while we sleep. We didn’t even turn the ceiling fan on. It’s powerful too. I haven’t ran it on 4 much. It’s exactly as advertised. It’s really quiet too. It’s way better than a lot of bigger fans that I have owned.

Glitchy, operates by itself without me!

I really like this fan…when it operates correctly. I use it in my bedroom at night, aimed at my bed, no oscillation. I bought it specifically because the remote is great if you’re already in bed but need a breeze to regulate temp. When I first got it, occasionally I would turn it off in the morning and then when I got home it would be on. I honestly thought I was just somehow bad at turning it off, but now, 10 months later, it’s glitching in multiple ways. Lately it’s been starting to oscillate while I’m asleep, which messes up the flow and temperature, and wakes me up with the variation in breeze. Also, I only ever use it on level 1 of 4, which is as much of a breeze as I ever need, but a few times I have woken up to all my hair tickling my face because the fan turned itself up to a 4! Way too breezy and cold. I don’t know, turning on when I’m not home is fine, but oscillating and speeding up is disturbing my sleep. If it keeps happening I’ll have to toss it and find something new.

    I am a Fan

This room fan is ideal for creating air flow in climate-controlled rooms. I greatly appreciate air conditioning, but AC can get too cold for me, so this fan adds air flow without lowering the AC. It is very convenient to move around as needed and easy to keep clean. It performs beautifully and I recommend it.

Very quiet, which I wanted, and works wonderfully. I love the remote as well. Cooled me off so well I had to turn it off! I live in a hot humid state and the AC and ceiling fans just weren’t quite enough. This little fan really moves the air. Highly recommend.

    Love this fan!

My kitchen only has one A/C vent that does not do a good job cooling things off. Therefore I placed this fan on top of a cabinet in front of the vent. This fan is powerful enough to blow the cooled air all around and it cools things down tremendously! This fan has 4 speeds and oscillates but the best thing is that it has a remote control!. I would buy this fan again and again!

The buttons being those hover your finger over suck. But if you look pass that it’s a really great fan. The servo moves it at the base you can angle the thing however you want so you can set it on the floor and aim up, you can hear the fan pass setting 2 but the noise is worth is cool air

    Great Air Flow!

During a recent Heat Wave, my AC broke down and it was sweltering in the house. I ordered 3 of the Dreo fans and they arrived when it was 88 degrees at 8:00 pm and all 3 fans brought immediate relief. I have my AC working again, but had my carpets cleaned and brought out the fans to hasten the drying process – worked like a charm. I highly recommend these units.

This fan works well and is a dependable purchase, great support.

Bought one of these fans in hopes that it would help me use less A/C – it did such a good job that I bought a second one for the bedroom. Good coverage, adjustable, reasonably quiet.Unfortunately, the second one started behaving oddly – stopping randomly or not turning on for periods of time. I contacted Dreo’s support, and was pleasantly surprised. With a few questions from Tina in support, it was determined that there was an issue, and a new fan was sent out on the same day. When it arrived, I tested it as working, and the original was sent back to Dreo.Simple, direct, and speedy support and shipping make this fan a good choice all around.

    Punches Above its Weight Class

This fan moves a great deal of air and does so very quietly on settings 1 and 2, the slowest settings. Setting 3 is noticeable but not objectionable and setting 4 is all about moving a lot of air in a hurry. Its 120 degree oscillation covers a lot of square footage and the controls on the base are touch sensitive (no actual buttons), so it is easy to keep dust-free. This is the fan you want if you are in an apartment or have a smaller home.

    My son loves it!

So I ordered this for my son’s dorm room when he goes to college this fall. We broke it out early and needed to use it when Tropical Storm Beryl came to town.He loves the remote-control feature for sure! That was a nice surprise for him. It works great! We plugged it into our generator and were using it in the kitchen when I was cooking. It does a nice job of cooling you off. I did a lot of research before I picked out a fan for him and the fact that he loves it before he even goes off to school is a plus. Now he has it in his room, and he never had a fan in his room before.

Best resolution to my hot flashes , hotel stays etc. My son entered my room and tried to take it, mind you he had another fan we ordered that was on the way that he liked but after he came into my room and felt this beautiful breeze of air I cancelled the prior order and ordered this fan for him. We sleep with fans all year round and now we’ve finally found our little best buddy, easy breezy!

    Power Consumption Data

It’s a good quiet fan and I think most of the other reviews will say the same, but here are some numbers for the nerds out there. Data was collected from the same wall outlet using a Kill A Watt P3 (123.6V @ 60Hz), comparing the fan at different speeds fixed in position vs. oscillating back and forth. Values were taken after observing the meter for roughly 10s and an approximate average value was recorded. This data is not super scientific but it should be a reasonable ballpark figure.I also compared this Dreo fan against an old Pelonis 15” I had just for fun. One thing of note is the Pelonis data was identical between fixed and oscillating settings. I’m guessing this is probably because the Pelonis fan has a mechanical lock to switch between fixed/oscillating and therefore doesn’t draw any additional power between these settings.Dreo 13”SPEED 1 (lowest): Fixed = 0.22 amp, 24.5 watt, 28.2VA, 0.86PF; Oscillating = 0.25 amp, 28.2 watt, 30.6VA, 0.91PFSPEED 2: Fixed = 0.27 amp, 31.3 watt, 34.1VA, 0.91PF; Oscillating = 0.30 amp, 35.1 watt, 36.8VA, 0.94PFSPEED 3: Fixed = 0.33 amp, 39.5 watt, 40.8VA, 0.95PF; Oscillating = 0.36 amp, 43.2 watt, 44.2VA, 0.97PFSPEED 4: Fixed = 0.39 amp, 47.6 watt, 47.0VA, 0.99PF; Oscillating = 0.42 amp, 51.7 watt, 51.7VA, 0.99PFPelonis 15”Low: 0.30 amp, 33.7 watt, 37.2VA, 0.90PFMedium: 0.32 amp, 36.5 watt, 39.1VA, 0.93PFHigh: 0.33 amp, 39.9 watt, 40.0VA, 0.97PF

    Great fan!

This is a terrific fan! I bought it for my desk at work, and it’s perfect for when things get stuffy. It is a bit loud on the faster settings, but I hardly use a faster setting than 1 because that circulates the air well. The oscillation is quiet and broad, and I like the timing setting, so I don’t have to worry about leaving it on overnight.

    Quiet yet strong

It’s small enough to fit on a desk but not too small to put on the floor. It has different tilt positions, extremely quiet( sometimes I forget to turn it off only to find that I’ve left it on because it’s so quiet) and has 4 speeds I always use the slowest speed and I can feel the air 8 feet awayI love the remote – never knew I would use it so much. If you misplace the remote, you can still use the manual controls on the base of the fan.The oscillating part goes I believe 180°. I wish I could program the oscillating part to only go 45°. Maybe it can be adjusted I haven’t played with it enough.I can’t comment on the timer bc I don’t see the use in a timer I turn it on when I need a fan Maybe timers are used when sleeping ?

I am a fan of this fan.

I love the amount of power is in this little fan. I did not have to bring my portable air conditioner into my bedroom at all this summer, like I have had to do in the past. And it had gotten miserable hot outside for about a month straight.Definitely will be sharing this with my friends and family.

Excellent customer service when needed !

I truly like this fan. You think a fan is a fan, right? I was ok with my $20 “brand x”, stationary, no remote fan until I received this Dreo unit. I purchased it at the end of April and loved it, unfortunately it stopped working without warning by the first week of August. I submitted a service ticket to the manufacturer and provided the info they requested: SN Label (sticker on bottom of fan), proof of purchase, video of the problem etc. I worked with Carol at Dreo and once she had all the details, she said a replacement fan was on the way ! Kudos to this company for their products and customer service. Give them a try!

    Better Than WOOZOO!

We purchased a top-end Woozoo fan for the bedroom. The 10-speeds and orbital pattern were of interest. When we received it, we placed it in the bedroom and quickly learned it wouldn’t work. The Woozoo has no way to turn off the panel lights. Plus the fan made a “whining” noise, probably due to its DC motor. It also didn’t allow it to be tilted down. I ordered the Dreo, and while it was about $40 less, I didn’t expect that much.Well, it worked GREAT! First, the fan was quieter. I can tilt it where I want it. The onboard light goes off after about 30 seconds. We have a winner! Sure, it doesn’t have 10 speeds, but that’s not a deal breaker. The only downside was that the White version was about $15 more than the Black version. I don’t understand that.I highly recommend it.

    Super Quiet

Fan arrived well packaged, encased in foam (thankfully not the crumbly stuff). No damage and no manufacturing flaws. Simple, well written manual.Every company calls their fan quiet. This one truly is. On speed one, it is almost silent. Speed two, the slight hum soon fades into the background. Speeds three and four do generate a bit more noise but the upper speeds do move a lot of air. When oscillating, there is no annoying click when the fan changes direction.Does this fan move air 70 feet away? I have no way to confirm or rebut this claim but I am skeptical. If the distance is important to you, try a box fan. I will say that on speed two, you can feel a nice breeze 25 feet from the fan.Have not needed to clean this fan yet but the steps to do so seem simple and straightforward. For the price, this is a fan that should fit most any need.

    AMAZING CUSTOMER SUPPORT

After a lot of research, I found the best fan out there. This fan is great because it ticked several of my requirements, albeit, I did have to pay a little more than the standard “fan” price these features included:- Oscillation- Excellent throw distance- Capacity- Size- Auto ModeI loved this fan, it was doing everything I wanted it to do, and did so beautifully for about 8 months of continuous use, but regardless of being well maintained, wiped down, and staying in position, the fan stopped oscillating. It still worked, and did everything great, but it stopped moving, so a key feature I had bought it for was not longer functioning. Naturally, I almost just bought a new one because I loved it so much, but instead I took a shot and reached out to customer support, and the customer service was unbelievably super responsive, apologetic, and understanding. We exchange 3 emails before they identified the malfunction and sent me a replacement product. Within 7 days I had a new product, they told me to keep the old one, the old one now sits in my garage where it provides excellent directional throw, and the new one is back in my condo doing what it does best.I 100% recommend Dreo, if not for the great product design, definitely for the customer service.

    Good quality fan, but . . .

I am satisfied with this fan. I use it in my studio where heat from monitors, amps, and other equipment can make the AC cooling work harder. Be aware that the fan does not have the feature to oscillate up and down like a similar Hunter fan that I own. I don’t typically use this feature with the Hunter but it makes it possible to stop it’s up/down position exactly where you want it. With this fan you have three choices (I believe 3 is correct) for up and down positions and it seems I need it half way between the available choices. My suggestion to the manufacturer would be to offer more position choices. The fan is quiet and does a good job of moving air.

    Ended the nightly argument

I am desperate for moving air when I sleep. My wife hates white noise. We have no ceiling fan. We’d been using a tower fan that’s only about 3 years old and she’d beg me to turn the fan off each night. I’d wait for her to fall asleep then turn it on so I could sleep. At our wits end, we started searching for quiet fans. We took a chance on this one after reading lot of reviews, and we’re both able to sleep. From 20 feet away, on the second setting, you can get a gentle cool breeze quieter than rainfall. Setting 3 is about rainfall and enough for me when I’m actually hot. You can mute the noise the buttons make and put a sleep setting on as well.

Amazing Fan and Awesome Customer Support!!!

This has every feature you would ever need in a fan. We use it in the bedroom when the temp gets a little uncomfortable. The remote is especially nice when you’re already in bed. We temporarily misplaced our remote and contacted the DREO company for support and replacement. Within a few hours they were already contacting me to help with a quick replacement which we ultimately did not need. Their response is indicative of their commitment to customer and product support. You won’t regret purchasing this product or dealing with the supplier.

    Two thumbs up!!

The way things are built these days you cross your fingers when you buy something! This fan delivers everything that’s in the description and more. My wife and I love this fan! We bought it in June and it’s now August and we can find nothing and I mean nothing bad about this purchase. Quiet, good airflow and even has a mode that if the temp drops the fan will slow down and if it rises it will speed up ! Found this out by accident, we thought it was failing already but nope that’s how it’s made. It’s a mode you can turn off or on. It’s nice to find a product that’s not false advertising!

    It’s FAN-tastic and toddler proof.

The pros FAR outweigh the cons. My daughter and I are surviving 115 degree days thanks to this lil thang. We live in a cheap studio with a tiny old swamp cooler and I am so grateful for this fan. When it’s oscillating, my daughter has a tendency to just run up and kick it from time to time or stand on the base. She does well to listen when I scold her and explain, so she gets off quickly, she but can’t resist the urge to try destroying it at intervals 😂 it has put up with her antics. Some things you might not like are that it’s a little heavy, so I am hesitant to mount it near the swamp cooler. The buttons are not traditional buttons, they’re more like touch screen buttons. This makes it difficult to adjust in the dark because there are no lights or raised surfaces indicating their location.

    Excellent customer service

This is a compact oscillating fan that is very quiet and has good power. I bought 2, one of which malfunctioned within a few weeks of operation. I contacted Dreo’s customer support and they immediately rectified the situation (special thanks to Tina from Customer Care). She sent me a replacement fan within days, at no cost. I didn’t even have to return the broken fan. Very impressed. Thanks, Tina!!

    Great Fan

I didn’t purchase the latest or greatest version of this fan and it was cheaper. The fan is great. Had a good wind flow, quiet at levels 1 and 2, a little bit louder at 3. I haven’t used it above this level yet. It beeps when you make changes which can be annoying and there may be a way to make that stop that I just haven’t figured out yet. Overall, great purchase.

    Quiet and powerful

Purchased this oscillating model the same day I received the 12” 3 speed model I thought oscillated. It’s that good of a product. Both create “wind” you don’t expect. This one’s remote control is a major plus. By the way, keeping both.

    High quality fan!

I got this fan for our bedroom and let me tell you that this fan is amazing!! It’s powerful in the highest speed and keeps our room nice and cool when the air conditioner is off or on! This little fan is oddly shaped but it’s amazing for our bedroom because of where it’s at and literally keeps us cool from head to toe when in bed!!!! It’s a durable little fan and must for any room in your house!!!!

I loved this little fan for a little over a year and then it started being extremely loud on and off. I contacted Dreo Customer Support, shared a video, and they replaced it. Thanks Carol at Dreo!

    This fan is great

Initial impressions are really good for this fan. Its replacing a cheaper 9″ ducted fan and I can notice how much better this Dreo is. It’s really quiet for the air it puts out an the oscillation makes no noise. Its seems like the bearings and balance are perfect. There are no vibrations and its really smooth in operation. I’m looking forward to using this over the years. I hope it lasts.

    Works well

My AC was working to hard, and too expensive to over use, this fan is fantastic, it helps cool down the space.i was able to keep the ac at a reasonable degree to keep it from working to hard..I recommend this fan. Looking at other products made by this company.Thank you.

Would like a lower speed but great fan

The fan works great and moves a lot of air. It’s fairly quiet for the amount of air it can move. I placed the fan far back under my desk so, for me, the remote is a must-have and has been great. I don’t want to crawl back there ever time I want to turn it off or change a speed; but I also don’t want to take up any more of my desk space. There are times that I wish low speed was actually a little lower but I doubt this would be an issue for most people.

13″ tall not 13″ in diameter

I purchased this fan wanting more air circulation than the dreo pedestal fan. I was under the impression that this fan had a larger diameter (marketed at 13″) than the dreo pedestal fan (9 ¾”)- it does not. This fans shroud measures 9″ across where the pedestal fan is 10″ across. It does not circulate any more air than the pedestal fan. The fan works well but it’s marketing is deceptive..

    Actually cools the room

I bought this for my son’s room. He doesn’t have a fan because of his sloped ceiling above his bed, but we live in Texas and it gets hot during the peak of summer even with AC running. I bought this to put on his nightstand and his room actually feels cooler and he says he loves it. Also loves the remote so he can turn off in the morning before waking up.
