Arrived, earlier than expected. Beautiful watch was even set to the right time out of the box. May need to remove a link for a more snug fit. But love the large size really easy to read. Plan on ordering another one in a different color just to have.First Fosil to have ever owned, Hope it lives up to the hype and reputation of the Fosil name and standard.

I purchased this watch as a college graduation gift for my boyfriend. The product photos are impeccably accurate, but the beauty of the timepiece really stands out in real life. The details in this design really make it; I chose this one over other models because of them. I was also considering the hybrid smartwatch model, but the battery life of this one is longer, and I like the look much much more. The face is slightly textured, the numbers are enlarged for prominence, and the minute and hour hands are color-blocked. The smoky gray/black is stunning, smooth, and matte. My boyfriend loves the coloring and design, which is cool, because I felt like it fit his personality. The face is 24mm, so it is prominent on his wrist. It looks like a man’s watch. Also, he has a rugged job and rugged interests, so the stainless steel make was important to me. I purchased the additional protection plan by Asurion as well, and for the price, I think the coverage is great. It is a nice supplement to the Fossil warranty.We had to take a couple of links out of the band, but that was easy and typical. The closure seems to be holding up, but the pins may loosen and detach at bad times in the future. We can’t tell yet, but we anticipate it as a common problem with this style band.Delivery was amazing–it came earlier than I expected. It was packaged in a small box in the usual Fossil tin box, but the lid of the tin had come off. The watch was not loose in the package or damaged, however. We plan to take it to a Fossil store nearby, because Fossil will engrave it for free if you do, which is cool. I wanted it engraved if he liked it, and I thought I would have to pay a local jeweler. If you are considering this product, I absolutely recommend it. My boyfriend and I love love love this watch!

Awesome watch. Love the size and heft. Feels like it would be a much more expensive watch. I’ve received a lot of compliments on this watch. I was a little concerned at first but time is actually pretty easy to read even in low light. A huge plus that I didn’t realize when ordering is the quick release band pins that it comes with. I haven’t gotten another band yet but it’s very easy to take this band off for removing links. The only complaint which is probably just inherent to this type of finish, is that a couple links on the band near the clasp started to show signs of wear (the finish is rubbed off slightly, so the stainless steel is showing through) a couple weeks after getting it, from rubbing on my desk at work. It hasn’t really gotten any worse, its location is pretty unnoticeable, and I expected this kind of wear after time, just maybe not so soon, so it’s not enough to take away a star.

No pun intended on the headline, but a watch like this is such a timeless piece and has gotten me through my college years, grad school years, and will continue to do so after that. This was my first watch and I have worn it for nearly 7 years and I have had no problems, and I’ve only had to change the battery once. It is a bit scratched up but I have beaten this thing down and have even gotten it in water (it is water resistant, not proof, but don’t believe that it was mentioned in the description, so even more of a bonus) but it still stays strong to this day. It is pretty large and heavy, so keep that in mind before purchasing, but absolutely recommend this watch. I got mine in the stainless steel and it complements very well with just about any outfit I have.

Been with fossil for 14 years. First one i bought for 35 bucks at a Macy’s and I was hooked. 16 watches later I felt like they have been slacking but this… This watch is Campbell’s good. Mmm mmm! Solid, heavy, very alpha, and the colors! They fit like fries and ketchup. I have 2 other Nate style watches and this one is the best. Have yet to take her for a spin. But she looking nice. Real nice.

I have several watches including a 10 year old Fossil I bought in a watch store in London that still works amazingly well. However t was in the market for a casual style matte black large face chronograph style watch. This watch fits that bill. Its a big face watch at 50mm but its not too large to look silly and unlike my other black on black watches this one is easy to view the time at night (I couldn’t read the smaller chronograph dials at night however). Very cool watch works with casual and dress attire with a matte black paint and military style influence. My only criticism was there was no manual describing how to use to the chronograph features but it works like most chrono watches so it was easy to figure out. Great price, great watch from Fossil.

This is a big watch – make no mistake about that. I have big arms and the dial is still huge on my wrist. That’s what I wanted, though, so no complaints about that! This watch is easy to read and the chronograph works great, though the large hands can block some of the smaller dials. The band feels very nice and sturdy. I actually started out with the Infantry knock off version of this watch, which arrived with a broken band, so I promptly sent it back. This watch is sturdy and justifies paying 3x as much. I also like that you can dress it up or down as you choose. It’s not over the top for a dressy occasion, but looks great with a t shirt and jeans too.

I love the all black look to the watch. Very nice and clean matte finish to it. A bit on the bulky side with the large face but it looks great! Got quite a few compliments towards it at work.The only complaint that I will say, which really isn’t a complaint, but was a tad difficult to resize the band. As in popping the little rods out of the brackets to remove a couple. (Does not effect the rating)
