Attractive Long Lasting Night Lights
I have about 20 of these all over my house now. They are attractive and give off just the right amount of light to be able to enter a room at night. For me a little too bright to have in the bedroom while sleeping but I like these in the kitchen, hall, bath, etc

Perfect for What I Needed
These little Night Lights are bit on the cheap side but they look great. The brightness is exactly what I need. They look very good in my home. The only thing I do not like is I wish they had motion sensors so they would go off until somebody walked by them but they are Dusk to Dawn which is good.

Great nightlight!

Energy Efficient….
Just moved into a new condo and I was in need of night light’s for a hallway and master bedroom. After reading the reviews, I settled on purchasing the GE CoverLite LED Night Light (2 pack). Shipping was quick and after a few room adjustments I was very pleased with my purchase. When I installed it in the bedroom it was too bright so I placed one in the kitchen and the other light in the hallway (view uploaded pictures). With these lights they do detect dusk to dawn and turn off whenever light is present. The lights are also cool to touch and I was able to leave my bottom socket free for other electrical needs. Overall, energy efficient night lights, the brushed nickel matches my stainless steel appliances, and inexpensive price. I appreciate you for taking time out to read my review. I hope you found it informative.

Nightlights
Bought a few of these and love them! Although 2 of them went out the same week I purchased them, the others are hanging on strong. I wish they sold refill bulbs for the casing as I truly love these and will be more. I had to give 3 stars for the ones that went out in one week.

Beautiful & durable
I bought these lights for my grandmother who is constantly wanting a good nightlight for her room. I was skeptical about the light because I believed it would be to heavy for the plug or not bright enough. However, i was very pleased to see my grandma enjoy her light as it was bright enough for her room (keep in mind my grandma lives in Mexico and her room is a brick home with very minimal light access) and she no long had to unplug it, or falling from the plug. Very good good choice 100% recommend.

Nice!
I put in a big sink in our powder room with shelf space and decided yes, it was too big. So we replaced the sink with a nice-sized one, but ended up with no shelf space. I had put in power sockets either side of the original big sink, and plugged these lights in to hide the sockets and provide ambient light at night.They are not motion detecting. They are darkness detecting. Except they have a higher threshold that I wanted. If the adjacent hall lights were on, these would go off due to light leakage into the powder room. I solved that with the dexterous use of a Sharpie, to black off an area of the sensor. Now they only react to ambient light.I’m very happy with them.

Really works
This really works with both home lights and the sunlight streaming in through my bathroom window. The size is perfect and slightly larger than the outlet cover itself so when plugged into the lower part it covers in all nicely. I actually mismeasured and my outlet sits really close to the medicine cabinet above. It can be plugged in and look normal when we have company over but then the cabinet can not be opened with it plugged in. Not an issue for me, or with the product as it was my fault in measuring. The reason I am bringing this up is because when we don’t have company we plug it in upside down and it still works. I wasn’t sure how the technology works with the sensor but I was worried it would not work upside down but it does. So I would recommend these and purchase them again. Oh and in case you are curious I purchased the tree design because it fit the decor of my bathroom the best but I like the looks of all of them.

Works very well. Bright enough for larger bathrooms, but isn’t distracting.
At first, I thought these weren’t very bright. We live in an 1880s home and our bathrooms are very large spaces with high ceilings. Once it was completely night and dark I could see that this actually put off a very nice warm light that was very sufficient for our bathroom, but not so bright that it was distracting into our bedroom. I don’t use the motion detection on that one, but I do use it on another one and it works very well. I love that you can select motion and night time on so that it will come on with motion and also when it gets dark. These are large enough to mostly cover an outlet… But that’s not why I bought it. In our old house outlets are hard to come by so we don’t want to cover and hide them. If you have worn outlets.. Like us… They are a little loose, but we are replacing our outlets soon. All in all, I love the traditional beauty these have for our old Eastlake Victorian.

Beautiful light
I love this night light. It’s beautiful and bright. The sensor works well. One thing to keep in mind is that if you have a 2-duplex outlet like I do you won’t be able to plug anything into the outlet on the side of the light. The bottom is not affected.

Only draws .5 watt, very bright!
I had a concern about the energy draw from these night lights as some would be placed in areas that were quite dark such as interior bathrooms where they would be drawing electricity all the time, precisely the reason we needed them. Unfortunately the product photos and description don’t show the wattage and the answered questions section of Amazon had conflicting answers ranging from .5 to twelve watts, a variation of 24 times! So I’m supplying a photo of the package that clearly states the draw as .5 watts and they are very bright! For some perspective that means about 4 KWH per year in continuous use, costing in my area about 30 cents. For those areas receiving sun cut that in half. So way cheaper than leaving on any lights or just about any old style night light. They appear a little fragile but once in place should operate well. I will append the review if I have any issues. Recommended!

I absolutely love the brightness on these lights! If there’s sunlight it won’t come on, if you stand in front of it with your shadow it gives off this small dim light, When it’s completely dark it’s bright and lovely! It’s also great at catching motion and is quick to react. Highly recommend this light! I am so happy i got a 2 pack and very happy with the product!

Great buy !
Moved into a new home, and found it so dark, I could not walk around at night without bumping into furniture. Added two of these lights, and the difference is amazing. Placed in common areas of home, they don’t interfere with my sleep, but give me light to get water during the night. One is by the outside door, and it is plenty of light to get to a switch when I come in at night. Well constructed, I think these will be around for awhile.

Excellent product & so pretty! I purchased this as a nightlight for my cockatiel, in order to try & avoid night terrors. The sensor works great, so it is very energy efficient. It turns on when the house starts getting dark. During the night it is bright enough to light up our entire living room area, but not to the point where it would be too bright & bothersome. It was nicely packaged, however My only complaint is that the plug itself was bent, to the point where I had to manually bend it in place in order to be able to smoothly plug it in to the outlet (pictured). Other than that, great product at a bargain price!

Very long lasting light, perfect for a hallway
I needed a little light in my hallway so we wouldn’t stumble at night walking from the bedroom to the bathroom or kitchen. This light is perfect, not so much it lights into the bedroom but enough so we can see where we’re going in the hall. I plugged it in at bedtime and unplugged it in the morning. After we got a cat several months ago I started leaving it plugged in so we wouldn’t accidentally step on the cat. The sensor works properly and the light goes off when my overhead hall light comes on. I bought this night light in late August of 2016 and it is now February 2019. The light is just now dimming and I’m buying a new one. Great value!

It’s like an airplane exit row in this house
We recently bought a very old farmhouse. The stairs and floors are crooked, and getting to the bathroom from any bedroom requires navigating steps that go down and then up. On the first night in the farmhouse, I nearly killed myself trying to get to the bathroom. In an effort to postpone my first trip to the local ER, I bought various night lights and strips of light for all over the place. It’s like an airplane exit row in this house. This particular night light is pretty and it’s not intrusive. It’s pretty bright. It responds very well to motion. Like any of the good motion-sensing night lights, be advised hat if you put it too close to a bed in which a restless sleeper lies, it will go on and off all night.

Geat light and matches bathroom
This is a a fantastic light for the bathroom. It was a lot larger than I thought it was (about the size of the outlet cover). But that turned out to be fine because if I put it on the bottom outlet I can still use the top because the light is out more and allows space for something else to be plugged in. It is also SUPER bright, we dont have to turn on the main light to use the bathroom at night. Its light sensor also appears to be very accurate.

Great nightlights that stay on at night
I wanted something that would look nice and stay on at night so I could see the path. Motion detector night lights wouldn’t work because of the positioning of the outlet, walls and doors. This has a light sensor which is just what I needed. The draw overnight is minimal. I bought a previous version of these from Costco about 5 years ago and they just started going out so got this set. Also using it for my 90 mother-in-law for the same reason.

Just bright enough, but doesn’t sit flush with wall
This light looks classy in person, but I wish it sat slightly more flush with the wall on our 1970s outlets. We have an awkward upstairs hallway where I was afraid a guest might fall down the stairs thinking it was the way to the bathroom. This night light sheds enough light to see where you are going without being super bright under doors and keeping us awake or ruining night vision. The device itself at a glance looks pretty with the metal cover, but the plastic part is pretty cheap looking…but I doubt anyone will be crawling up the stairs, so it’s fine. With a door cracked open to let a little light in, the thing shuts off all day and turns on as soon as it’s dark.

Nice looking and the right amount of light
The oil rubbed bronze and the tree cutout are nice. It puts out the right amount of light for our upstairs landing. When plugged into the upper plug of a 2-plug wall outlet, it does not cover the lower outlet, which allows you to plug in a vacuum cleaner, etc. without removing the night light.It’s a little bulker than I would like…it’s rounded, like a barrel cut in half….so it sticks out into the hallway a little bit. I prefer a more low-profile, wall-hugging night light, but this is still nice, and not so bulky that it is a problem. And another good thing….the half-barrel shape has a translucent piece of plastic on the top side, which effectively tones down the light that would be visible coming out of the top (so you don’t get blinded by a bulb as you walk past).

Bronze ones look like nickel
I like the style of these lights a lot. And they are brighter than other ones I have. But I ordered the bronze ones and they look silver/nickel. I thought they just shipped the wrong ones, but the package said “bronze”. So I think the color shown is not accurate.

Surprisingly Lovely Nightlights
These are a GE product. Beautiful, works right out of the box, and the lights are exactly the brightness I want in my hallways at night. Not so bright that you feel like you have to close doors to sleep, yet not so dim that you will still trip over something in the dark. They are “cheap” in the sense that they are plastic and a little imperfect in how the sit in their own housing and when placed into an electrical outlet. However, the price and materials are not indicative of the form and function when they are on display in the home. Really great find. The best nightlights I have ever owned when it comes to beauty and brightness level.

We have light!
I have a utility room that a cat door allows my cats to access the litter box since I don’t have a basement and I don’t like litter boxes in the house. This light gives just enough in the evening for their comfort. The other will go into the bathroom when a thunderstorm makes my Lab go into it’s closet. Closing the bathroom door for his comfort makes it too dark and I wanted him to have a bit of light. We’re all happy!

Stunning… and the Size covers old gross outlets PERFECTLY
The brown frame looks like real metal and so they look very fancy. It’s the size of a full outlet which is GREAT. When put in the bottom outlet, is covers the whole outlet cover perfectly, so if you have some gross exposed outlets that are painted on or yellowing from age, it hides it. That was not my intention AT ALL when I purchased this item, but it was a perk I realized when I plugged them all in. woo hoo! I have had these for a few months now with 3 of them plugged in 24/7 and they all still work perfectly.

This is a very nice night light to place in any room in your home. I received it yesterday. I love the way it automatically turns on when the light changes from late afternoon to turning off in the morning. And only for pennies a year! You just can’t beat that! Much nicer than it looks on site. I have a few more I plan to order for different rooms where I just have regular night lights w/bulbs. They are NOT attractive and sure cost more than pennies a year to operate. It’s amazing how much better just a small change like this makes a big change in your room. There are so many beautiful night lights to choose from. If you like night lights or even if you don’t, you will love these. Be sure to check out the whole line. You will be amazed. Awesome. Just enough light.
I purchased this night light to go in my kitchen, ,I a bronze chandler and vent covers so this matched perfectly. The design is simple and elegant and I think would fit in with a lot of different decor styles. This night light is bowed out and does not sit flush against the wall giving it a lot of dimension. The scrolling work or design on the light reminds of a Celtic style knot. The light that this night light give off is not very bright but it lights the way just enough so we do not trip on any toys from our kids or cats. An LED light is included in with this. I do not think the light is replaceable. The light does come on by itself when it is dark and turns off when it is bright or daylight. There is no on/off switch. I am very happy with this purchase and I highly recomend this to anyone looking for an beautiful bronze colored night light.

Great Nightlight
These nightlights come in packages of two which is great. They are dusk to dawn lights and so far they work perfectly. They are made of plastic with the tree design. The color is a soft coppery bronze. I am using one in my bathroom and the other in the kitchen. They plug into a regular outlet either on the top one if you want an outlet free or it can cover both outlets if you just want the look of the nightlight. They come on when its dusk and turn off if you flip the light on so they’re not wasting energy and then turn themselves back on when you turn the light off. The light is not bright but is just bright enough to see your surroundings. I like the color, the design, the simplicity and the dusk to dawn feature.

AWESOME NIGHT LIGHT – the bronze color looks great, the LEDs are efficient & safe, the design is solid, & output + color perfect
This is a REALLY NICE night light and it is worth the price premium over a basic model because this is a really awesome night light. I was so happy with the look, the build quality, the amount of light it put out & the color temperature of that light, and the extremely energy-efficient design that I purchased a second CoverLite…and I am thinking about a third!Measuring about 4.5 inches tall, 3 inches wide, and 1.4 inches deep, this mid-sized LED night light has a polished & brushed bronze-color finish, which gives it the look of a hand-polished finish (note that GE also has a hand rubbed bronze finish.) You can mount it so that it only covers one electrical outlet and does not obstruct the other, or it can cover both outlets, which gives you usage flexibility. It uses a low-output LED and the amount of energy it uses compared to a traditional incandescent night light is substantially less…an when I say substantially, I mean that the amount of energy this thing uses is almost negligible! Using an automatic light sensor, this comes on when it’s dark and turns off when it is bright. Also, by being an LED, you will not have to spend money on replacement bulbs every 1,000 hours or so…the service life of this LED could easily be 100,000 hours + given LEDs have gotten super reliable, and the build-quality of this entire unit is made to last. This maximum energy efficiency and no need to replace the bulb or unit means the 10 bucks on this light will likely save you money in the long run. Unlike the compact fluorescents, this LED emits a SOFT-yet-WARM light…it does not have an office building fluorescent bulb vibe to it, but rather a very warm, friendly color that matches a home setting, and this color temp is literally spot-on for something that will run dimly at night. You could almost call it a mood light.In terms of brightness, the light output is almost PERFECT. It is enough so that you can see your way around in a dark room without needing to turn on a bright light, but dim enough that it is not distracting from sleeping. Compared to my Sun GE CoverLite, this model is not quite as bright. This nightlight, like other GE CoverLites, is UL certified…so you do not have to worry about them burning down your house while you are away on vacation (a friend of mine who is a firefighter has told me that it isn’t completely unheard of for very poorly made generic devices like those 30 cent night lights to occasionally cause some major issues.) Additionally, this light does NOT get hot enough to burn children or pets…which my rabbit, Lilly, greatly appreciates.Surprisingly, I get asked about my GE CoverLites all of the time. People notice them almost immediately and they absolutely love them. A lot of people have seen them and then purchased them for themselves. And I must admit they really are handsome night lights. They really favor the warmth of a home-setting mood light rather than a harsher light, and it looks so much better than a plain night light. The bronze color is just plain cool looking and it matches most room decors quite well.So between the efficiency & longevity of a LED, the mechanical soundness & safety of the design, and the fact that these just look plain cool, I highly recommend this and other GE CoverLites. Indeed they are on the more expensive side of night lights, but they’re absolutely worth it.

I was looking for night lights that didn’t need to be turned on or off manually. I’m so glad to have found these – I first ordered 2 of one design in silver and the tree design in bronze. loved them, so ordered another set of 2 silver ones. I have them in both bathrooms, laundry room, hallway, and living room. Means I don’t have to leave any other lights on during the night and I can see in the basement laundry room quite well enough to turn on other lights when I go down there.Also VERY good for elders who may get up during the night, and or who have failing eyesight.Highly recommend!

Long lasting
I’ve had these now for 3 years without technical issue, and they’ve been bounced around the house a ton. The light is awkwardly a brighter white than anticipated, a warmer glow would be favorable.

Works great
Perfect for the hallways we have. Perfect amount of lighting and never have to turn it on or off thanks to its auto sensor. Looks great on or off. Very happy with this led night light.
