Not what I thought I was ordering
I thought I was ordering a BRIGHT nightlight with a daylight sensor on it but I was wrong. Got it today and plugged it in and it’ll definitely do what I bought it for. Lights up my entire living room good enough that I don’t need a lamp on or anything.

Very bright!
Bought this to use in the kitchen at night so that we don’t have to turn on the can lights to walk to the refrigerator or sink. Like the dusk to dawn feature, but since this is used under the cabinets it stays on most of the time unless we manually shut it off. A great nightlight that’s very, very bright!

Great Path Lights from GE
Tried numerous night/path lights and found these on Amazon Warehouse Deals….Like that we can switch them off when daylight arises….. we use on low and switch to high when granddaughters visit…. Even on the higher setting its not a blinding brightness, it’s a warm light more towards the yellow side of the spectrum instead of blue…..Why not be safe with bright lights to make your drowsy wake up walk to the bathroom safer….You can trust GE products

These things are way brighter than you will expect
Most of the time you buy these nightlight, and they’re not all that bright. These are brighter than I ever expected. I plugged one into the ceiling in my garage next to the garage door opener plug in. The one light on high illuminates the whole garage. I can literally go out in the garage and took all kinds of stuff and never need to click on light. The two pack was great, but I’m not sure what to do with the other one because one is so bright on its own lol would highly recommend.

Bright
I included two pictures, one is in the bathroom with all the lights out to see how bright the nightlight is. The other picture is in my hallway with the sun coming in where it did not turn itself on. You can see it only takes up one outlet. You can see it is very bright. If you put this in the bathroom, you won’t have to actually turn on the light on the wall when you go in there at night. I recommend.

Bright! Not a traditional night light.
Exactly what I was looking for to provide light beyond a dim night light in my garage. It is BRIGHT and is not a tradtional night light to provide light for a bedroom. It is to provide sufficent ambient light to actually see what you are doing in a room, but not a full blown source of light.

Lot of light
Needed to replace some “7W equivalent” LED night lights that just did not give off enough light. Could not find much selection at the local store for brighter lights. Ran across this while browsing and thought I would give them a try. These are bright, maybe too bright for sleeping areas. I have one of these in the bathroom off the master bedroom and it does light up the bedroom. This doesn’t bother me, but it may others. I have one in a guest bedroom and would probably have to turn it off for someone to sleep in there. These are great for hallways and any areas where additional light is needed to navigate and walk where you do not want to turn on the regular lights just to pass through. As a note, in some areas that you may want/need to place one, you may find it will not fit if the receptacle is close to a wall. This can be the case in rooms such as bathrooms where the receptacle is placed close to a corner wall. I would love to see one where the lights are made vertical to the outlet and not horizontal. Otherwise, these will definitely light up the room more so than typical night lights.

Efficient Way to Add Light to Dark Spaces
I have a dark hallway leading into a dark restroom in an area of the house that does not get a natural light unless the ceiling light or restroom lights are switched on. With these GE Ultra Bright bars, I was able to make an instant improvement by adding them to an electrical outlet in the hallway and the restroom. Both areas are now nicely lighted and the darkness handicap is now eliminated. I got the four pack leaving me with two extra that I am still thinking about where to place. Excellent product and a better solution that buying battery powered lights that although have more flexibility on placement but it is always troublesome to be changing out batteries or recharging the light fixture. I tried that before but I ended up going through batteries frequently. A better solution with this product, you just need to have an electrical outlet available in the area you need to light up.

Extremely bright 100 lumens
Maybe too bright for some people or places. Has on off and on if senses darkness. So in dimly lit area it may stay on all the time. Is NOT motion sensitive. I bought the 2 pack and don’t really have a good place for the second one. Maybe in the garage. Really bright.

Update: Still Working Well After Almost 2 Years
Edit Oct. 10. 2023:Still going strong, no change after all this time. I haven’t touched them since the time I mentioned below. Excellent buy if you’re looking for a bright light. I’m actually about to purchase another set for my office where a low light night light isn’t cutting it. .1st review Oct 2, 2022:I buy a lot of stuff on here with my own money but don’t often feel compelled to leave a review. These GE Ultrabright LED night lights definitely deserve one, though.We moved into an older house that doesn’t get a lot of light in the front rooms during the day, so you can imagine that it gets extremely dark at night. The hallway gets very little ambient light during the day from the other rooms. There are not a lot of electrical plugs and the hallway light is only accessible from the middle of the hallway. We definitely needed a good light source for the hallway and one for the living room for when we needed to walk around at night.I did a lot of research and buying of different auto shut off and off/on night lights that were too low light. They were ok for other uses but not for the hallway or living room.I finally found these night lights and bought them on November 2, 2021 and it is now October 5, 2022. These lights are still going strong with absolutely no issues. We use one in the hallway that I at first would turn off during the day. I gave up on that after a few days and just leave it on all day, every day, since there’s nothing more “fun” than coming out of my office after dark while working from home into a pitch black hallway/house. This allows us to not ever have to turn on the hallway light unless we need a super bright light on, or have company over (only so they don’t think we live in constant dimness, even though we do lol. We like it like that, ok??).The other night light is in the living room closest to a bay window and is on auto shut off mode. This one gets enough light to shut off during the day, plus it gives off a bright enough light at night where I can easily see to walk around and don’t have to turn on the lamps.At first I thought they were too bright. I will say that if you are planning to use one of these in your bedroom or to have one in the hallway with the doors open, these might not be the lights for you. They are BRIGHT without being overhead light bright. We leave our bedroom door open, which took some getting used to for my partner. I, however, am not a fan of the pitch black dark, so I love them.I know nothing about how much electricity these use, though I would be interested in finding out. I don’t think it’s listed here on the page. However, our 1930s 3 bedroom home has the (updated) central air on blast throughout the summer and the heat goes strong throughout the winter but our electric bill is around what we expect. Just know that these lights are excellent if you’re looking for BRIGHT soft white lighting at an excellent cost.

Perfect For the Elderly
I purchased these for my grandmother who is in her 80s. While she gets around quite well, it can be troublesome in low lit areas. I placed one in her kitchen and one in her bathroom. They put off so much light, and she’s really happy that she can walk into a room confidently not having to fumble for a light switch or watch her step.I love that they come on automatically for her so she doesn’t have to remember to turn them on or off. I also love that she has the option of turning them on or off completely using the switch.

Prod descrip. Not correct 200 vs 100 lumens
The first thing you need to know is that GE blundered by trying to list two similar looking products with dissimilar features in one Amazon post.100 lumen version is truly dawn to dusk, light sensing,200 lumen version is not light sensing. It is either off or on, with two brightness modes. It will not turn on or off automatically.For people that claim it is too bright, this is advertised as a bright light. An average nightlight is around 15 lumens, so yes 100 and 200 lumens will be significantly brighter.Overall would have given 5 stars if the descriptions were correct as these are great lights that provide bright light and still leave the other outlet usable.Not sure why motion detection is listed under features in the review as neither light has motion sensors.

Basement necessity
These babies are BRIGHT. Perfect for windowless areas or where you absolutely need to see but don’t want to carry a flashlight. Kitty loves one not far from her litter box, apparently she doesn’t like trying to find her box in a dark basement any more than I like trying to find the bathroom in it. Saves money by avoiding having to leave on a higher energy pulling lamp, using up expensive ceiling light bulbs, or buying batteries. One easily lights up my bedroom to reading level. Love them.

Powerful Illumination
This GE Ultrabrite light bar is great for powerful illumination in dark areas. This light bar IS NOT motion-sensitive or a dawn-to-dusk sensor nightlight. It is either “on” or “off” and the low setting is probably 100 lumens and the high setting is 200 lumens, even though the info is not on the box (check the JASCO website). This light bar is well made and the light is even and bright.

I have dark spots in my kitchen along the countertop, this light is perfect for the area. It’s much brighter than the ordinary 4watt night light. I have tried a few other night lights prior to these. Yay, they are PERFECT. They are VERY bright, which is exactly what I’ve been searching for. I have one in my large bathroom and another in the hallway so there’s no longer a need to turn on the ceiling lights. The shape is smooth and stylish. I DEFINITELY recommend these lights! Don’t even bother with others that claim to be ‘bright’ yet only show you where your outlet is!

100 Lumen
Basic simple light. I don’t think either the 100 or 200 lumen has a motion detector. 100 lumen unit most definitely does not have a motion detector. It has a photosensitive cell that turns on in darkness and turns off in light, it does not have a motion detector which is fine. I have it on a landing going downstairs and it’s always dark. So it looks like this light is always gonna be on unless I choose to turn it off.

Like others have said, the motion sensor doesn’t work. It’s either on or off. Also, I can’t speak to the energy efficiency of it, I have no idea. But if you don’t care about motion sensing and need a brightly lit area then this would be a good buy.

I use both of the lights in my dark laundry room as that is where I keep the cat litter box . One is left on low all the time, and the other I will turn on as needed. Provides enough light for my needs, and rarely need to switch on the overhead light. I like the availability of using the other outlet.

Auto-off: 200 Lumen version vs 100 Lumen version
I originally purchased several of the 100 lumens version of this light. The 100 lumen version comes with the auto-off feature. After recently purchasing several of the 200 lumens lights, I realized that the 200 LUMEN VERSION DOES NOT HAVE THE AUTO-OFF FEATURE; only “off”, “low” and “high”.It’s not a product defect, however the product description does not clearly highlight the differences between the 2 versions and the customer can easily overlook the differences if not comparing the images of the two products operating slide switches.Both the 100 and 200 lumens version provide ample light. I use them for the hallways and bathrooms to provide light at night.3-stars for the unclear explanation of the differences between the 2 products. 4-stars for the actual product itself.

Once plugged in the light is on constantly. In the “auto” position it does brighten even more and provides a lot of light. What I did not like was that it does not shut off when there is no motion. It comes on and stays on even in the auto position.

If you need bright night lights, look no further
I love these!!!! I have one in every room and on the top and bottom of my stairs. I use these now instead of leaving an overhead light on all night. They can be put sideways or up and down and the brightness is perfect as well. They can be put on auto or there’s also a setting to stay on 24/7.

Super Super Bright!
After plugging this in you’ll have no trouble seeing in a dark room. They are really bright – maybe a bit too bright? I’ve never known a night light so bright! They are easy to use. Just plug them in and turn them on and you will see exactly what I mean. These are great! I no longer need to turn a light on in a dark room during the night – these are bright enough to light your way and allow you to see everything clearly!

Too bright
I honestly had to unplug this light. It’s extremely bright and was more than what was needed for me but I definitely reccomend in a place like a basement or large living area as the ONLY source of night light. It definitely did its job. As for motion detection, it seemed to stay on the entire time though that could have just been user error.

WHOA absolutely blinded by these lights. Even on low power I have to wear my sunglasses at night. I have to illuminate a large portion of my house at night and it really does the job. Great that it’s LED too, but I kind of feel that the light housing gets warm? Weird. Not particularly sturdy either, as it seems to rock back and forth in my outlet and sticks out kind of far from the wall. A good choice, still, as you can’t find bright LED nightlights, all others are truly dim compared to this fireball of a nightlight.

Does not have a light sensor
Bought this because of its low profile and light output, but the pictures say it is light sensing and that was a decision making feature. When it arrived I discovered that it just had off, low power, and high power on the switch. If it was less affordable I would send it back, but as it was pretty inexpensive I made a workaround using a spare Amazon plug I had and some routines.
