Light works sometimes.
The fan is cute. Works well. The light is a whole mother story. Aggravating to say the least. Most of the times it turns on and rarely turns off, unless that is you hold the remote inches from the blades. And even then it may work! It’s for a stvr and so many complaints that we got the company to send us a replacement remote and it did not help. Only buy of you want a fan. Having owned it for 13 months, today was the last straw. We unplugged the light connectors and put black tape over the light button on remote.

Great value
We wanted to modernize the fan in our guest bedrooms without breaking the banks. This fan has all the features we wanted with a slick design and remote control for $120. We bought two. The first one took me few hours to install. The instructions are terrible. Not the easiest to follow. I also didn’t find YouTube video made the company which would have helped. The 2nd one got easier after getting through the first one. The most difficult part is placement of the remote control receiver box. I ended up cramming in in the ceiling but I saw a better way of installing in under the reviews just now (too bad I already installed mine).

Almost perfect looking
Works well, one of the harder ceiling fan installs and a bit of an unfinished look on the base. Photo shows the ceiling mount with its open screw holes

Looks nice but annoying to operate
I bought two of these for my house and they were installed by an electrician so I’m not sure how difficult it is to install. Using it has been frustrating. The remote control doesn’t work reliably so you can stand there for minutes pushing a button before the fan reacts. I thought I could fix this by just replacing the light bulb with a smart bulb and controlling it with alexa but when I opened the light, I saw it was an irreplaceable LED Array. If the remote worked reliably it would be a 4 star. I have 2 of these and they both have the same problem with the controller. If the controller ever stops working, I will have to replace the whole unit which is a hassle.

Fan and remote are great, light is very dim.
We like the fan, various settings, remote but the light is pretty worthless. You’ll need a lamp in the room you install this in.

Beautiful fan!
I’ve been looking for a fan for awhile and this is the only fan I found that wasn’t outrageously priced and had everything I wanted. I love the mountable remote control that comes with it, I put it by my bed for easy access. The light itself isn’t too bright, which I like but if you prefer something bright this may not be enough. I have low ceilings and would probably hit my head if I were taller (5’2) so if you’re on the tall side with somewhat low ceilings that’s something to consider. Overall a great fan and I’m happy with my purchase.

Very nice fan with features
The installation is a bit tricky given the limited space to work with but it is doable with patience. This fan has variable nature mode to simulate a breeze. The light is fairly bright and a bit different than most fans but I like it. Cleanest looking fane design for the cost. Tip. When putting on the light kit.. make sure you screw it on even but not too tight to restrict the fans movement. It has to be even to ensure light cover is even when putting it on. Fan is quiet and compact.. modern looking

Great fan!
Bought and installed 3 in the three bedrooms in the house.I am newer to “new” fans and I was worried with the three blades these wouldn’t put out enough air flow and with the one room being a little bigger, that it wouldn’t be enough. Man, was I wrong! These babies really put out some air even on the lowest setting! They are quiet (we had the one we installed first hitting something and once we turned off and adjusted it was silent), and put out an incredible breeze. On high, it is more than enough for even the hottest day.The remote was my favorite part, in the rooms where we had just one switch for the fan we mounted the remote right over the box, which was a very clean and nice look since we didn’t need the switch with the remote. In another room we had a switch for a wall sconce so we left the switch and mounted the remote on the wall right next to it and it looked great as well. I love the bracket for it and that you can pop it out. I think it looks much nicer than in another room we have a remote with just a holder which looks a little meh compared to this one.The install was fairly straight forward as other fans we have done in the other rooms and in a rental property we have. There was a learning curve on the first one, mostly which way to put all the wires to have enough space to put the remote box in and get everything up and covered. This is the same as we’ve had with other fans, not any more or less difficult. By the third we were pros and probably installed it from start to finish in about 15 mins but I would say the first was an hour or so because of the wiring and we had missed a step and didn’t realize until the end! Ooops!Great product, would buy again in the future. My only downside now after purchasing other fans is the one in our living room has plastic wood-look blades which I actually prefer vs the cardboard-type wood blades these have just because you can take them off and scrub them or whatever is needed in the future. However, the remote on this one beats that!Great purchase and would highly recommend!

Fairly easy to install and works well
Clear instructions, with the fan packaging set up to install fairly quickly. I decided to install the fan, replace my can lights in the ceiling and replace my dimmer switches all at the same time, and the result was a lot working with a headlamp, and the fan installation was still fairly easy. I installed two of these, and the second went a lot quicker, except that I had to balance the blades on the second fan. I like all of the features of this ceiling fan except that the direction switch is not on the remote but on the fan. For our house, that’s a ladder operation twice a year, so not too bad. The remote has some functions that are not likely to get used, so engineering the ability to switch directions from the remote seems fairly good sense.

Great buy!
It was super easy to install, looks great. You can tell the materials are cheaply made but it’s also a pretty cheaply priced fan so I think it performs and looks fantastic for the cost. It dims and has all sorts of cool buttons and features on the remote and is quiet. However the one thing I’m meh about is that at night if the fan is on the light will ever so softly glow. Which I found a bit irritating at first but eventually got used to. Overall I think the good outweigh the bad and would buy again.

Humming noise!
After searching the internet for the most reliable ceiling fans, Honeywell was ranked on top. Well, not for me. The installation was somewhat easy as I have installed multiple fans. The instructions have some error in wire labels and does not take into account the red wire coming out of the ceiling. Of course, this wasn’t a big issue for me. The issue was the oscillating humming noise. It is loud enough to keep me from falling asleep. I thought this was going to be a quiet fan. But, not the one I installed. It is being returned. It’s a PITA to take down and rebox and take it to UPS to return. I must say that it is nice looking fan and looks well made.

Fan-tastic with careful install
I don’t usually write reviews but since this has some bad reviews I decided to share my experience. I’ve installed several ceiling fans in the past – this one only slightly more difficult because of the remote receiver – but read through the reviews for suggestions and it is not that difficult. It only fits in one way. Best advice was to assemble the whole thing (except lens cover) before climbing the ladder. As a 3 blade fan there is plenty of room to work and it isn’t heavy. Looks great! Works great! Quiet and mine is perfectly balanced. Light is bright – or dim. Fan puts out plenty of air even with only 3 blades. I love it!

Disappointed crappy ceiling fan
I got 5 of these for my new house. They have a nice looking/finish. When installed; 2 of them were malfunctioning due to poor connectivity between remote and receptor which ends up in wrong or ineffective response. Followed all the troubleshooting and had a technician came to see if there was something wrong but everything was ok. Then, Called customer support third company (Amazon didn’t want it to take them back and Honeywell puts you in contact with a third party vendor) and had to prove them they were malfunctioning. Their fix? They send new remotes and new receptor; however only received one so I’m reaching out back again. And have to pay more for the technician coming down to install, check, check again and not put it down and install a new one…Today another one broke down so that is 3 out of five either broken or malfunctioning in less than 4 month… that is what I call the crappiest ceiling fan in the entire universe. Please stay away; Honeywell is not a good company and is not responsible with the warranty nor customer service. You are warned.

My Expectations Are Beginning to Fade
Got this fan installed, August 26th 2020.. Pretty straight forward. As I was taking the blades out of the cellophane, I was somewhat concerned. They felt so small and light and more like a child’s toy than a professionally made household appliance, but I’ve been growing somewhat used to the degrading quality of everything these days. Seems everything lately is more about the bottom line and less about the durability of pretty much anything I buy now. After about an hour, it seemed to be moving the air around pretty well. It didn’t wobble or make any noise. I had to bring a light in from another room to be able to see anything because the light would go no brighter than faint. The fan I was replacing in my bedroom was there for about 15 years and it was just getting tired. It had been banged around one too many times and wasn’t pushing the air very good anymore. The light from the old fan was sometimes too bright, but all I had to do was removed or unscrew a light bulb or two out of the 5 that were in there. The fan blades on my older fan had been hit, knocked, punched, gashed and still worked fine. Had to bend a few of the blade irons back when they were bent after I dropped the fan on my bed during installation, but they still worked great. After about 2 hours, I finished up with the laundry and started to make the bed. Not sure if you’re like me when you make a bed, you toss the sheets and blankets up in the air so they land just right and cover the bed, then tuck them in.I had pretty much everything I needed; I could see again because the lamp from the other room made it bright enough. I was comfortable from the nice quiet breeze and I was making my bed by tossing the sheet into the air over the bed.I heard a loud crack as my sheet caught one of the fan blades on my new fan. No big deal I said to myself. My other fan had been hit by my bed sheets, blankets, cat’s toy and even my head once or twice when I clumsily stood up too tall not thinking and banged my head on the wooden blades. This time was different though. The fan was still rotating, but it was wobbling badly. So I turned it off and took it apart. I found that one of the blades had been torn from the nuts holding it into the motor and it was obvious this blade was not going to rotate evenly anymore.Being a typical dude, I hate to return things. Especially after they take an hour to install. So I glued and epoxied the blade at the screw hole and it will probably last longer than the other two blades. The problem is that I can’t understand why anyone would make something with a large motor, an appliance that is going to be hit once or twice during its lifetime, a thing made for adults (as opposed to children) and make the fan blades out of paper Mache?UPDATE: August 28, 2023.My fan has lasted 3 year now. Last night I was watching TV. My Honeywell ceiling fan was running overhead and keeping me cool.As I began to doze off on the couch, I heard a loud thump noise and and I saw something fly past me out of the corner of my eye about 3 feet away from my head.So I snapped to and looked around quickly to make sure nothing else was going to be zooming past my head or, of course, into my head as it were.I looked up at my ceiling fan and noticed it was wobbling frantically and it appeared to be terribly off balance and it looked as if it was about to come off of the ceiling and into the area of my crotch directly below. So I quickly tumbled and rolled away from the couch, ducked and covered my privates and my head with my available limbs and waited pensively. When nothing happened, I got up off the floor and ran into the other room, scooping up my cat and my dog on my way out.So my expectations of late continue to fade. To say the least.I took the fan apart and, found the blade, stuck somewhere in a random corner of the room and inspected it.The tip of the blade where the screw holes were, that attaches the blade to the body of the fan was severed and only half holes remained. So of course, I could not reattach the blade and thus, the room I was in became very hot.One gal asked me if I worked out there and told her no, but thank you, I needed that.Do however, need to add get new fan. Probably not going to get a Honeywell.

Read my review before you buy for helpful tips.
I don’t usually write long in depth reviews on things I buy, but I’m going to for this fan to hopefully help others.I spent hours reading over the specs of this and other fans. What sold me on this fan was its design, reasonable cost and efficiency and also the ability to control it with a remote. I wanted a smart feature initially, but decided the extra $100+ I would need to spend on another fan wasn’t worth it.I read the Amazon reviews for this fan and the most common complaints seem to be its difficult installation, lack of power and dim light.I needed 4 fans, so I bought 1 to check it out and install before purchasing the other 3. I learned alot and hopefully this review will help others. If you have no knowledge about electricity and haven’t ever installed a fixture you will have a more difficult time and might consider hiring an electrician. If you have some experience with fixtures, I’d budget about 1.5hrs. The first 1 took me this long, but the rest took about 45 min each. This included the replacement of the old fixture box for a new fan box. Here area my tips:1) Purchase and install a fan rated electrical box if you aren’t replacing an old fan. I did this cause I was replacing a light fixture with this fan.2) Assemble everything except the mounting flange and light cap before climbing a ladder.3) Screw in the mounting flange ground wire to the fan box before placing the downrod rod onto the flange.4) Screw in th downrod ground into the ground of the mounting flange after sliding the remote receiver in place. The complaints that there isn’t enough room for the receiver simply isn’t true. I’ll include a picture of how and where it goes, but other reviews have posted similar pictures. The complaints of the fan being underpowered is probably a result of the fan spinning in the wrong direction. The fan blades can be used as either black or brown by flipping them over. Depending on which color you prefer to use, YOU WILL NEED TO ADJUST THE ROTATION OF THE BLADES since the blades are installed at an angle to deflect air. If using brown, a counter clockwise rotation to push air down is appropriate. If choosing black, a clockwise rotation moves the air down. The blade direction is changed with a black switch located on the housing. This feature is helpful too as it allows you to spin the blades in the opposite direction to draw heat down during the winter. The led light can be dimmed by holding down the button with the light icon on the remote. I can see how people might think the light is too dim, if it came out of the box set on low and weren’t aware of its dimability. In the end, I am very pleased with my purchase. I love the style, and it didn’t break the bank when needing 4 at $120 each. The instructions aren’t the best, but if your have some fixture installation experience, this isn’t hard at all. I removed 1 star for having to explain all this to people because it’s not explained in the instructions.

2 person job. Placing the receiver is the hard part.
The installation wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be but it was my first time so what do I know?! I can tell you that a job like this is much easier with another person. The wires were too long that were attached to the fan so we cut them off more than half way. This was necessary if we wanted to get it all inside the mount. The hardest part was fitting that darn receiver for the remote in the mount, my goodness. I didn’t know where to stick it but we found a way and it looks great. The fan and light works well and it’s very nice to look at. That small dome light really lights up my room. I don’t have to buy a floor lamp anymore. The remote is responsive and I just keep it bedside.

We had ours professionally installed
We love the fan and aesthetically it looks nice in our bedroom. It’s super quite. You must have the remote control in order to operate the different functions of the fan so don’t misplace the remote. Also we found we must be super close to the fan unit to use the remote. Overall we like the well needed updated fan.

Great price for what you get
The media could not be loaded.
Be mindfull of where the remote receiver is placed when mounting the fans support frame.Otherwise, decent fan, looks nice, expect to replace the blades in about 2 years as they are where the cost savings were made (pressed fiberboard)….All and all though, worth the money.

Teen kids love them
Bought this nickel finish and one like it in black for my teen children’s bedrooms. They love the remote control function and that it has a wall mount box for the remote by their bedside. It’s definitely a unique bulb. I hope it lasts forever since the bulb is a significant part of this ceiling fan’s feature. Not the brightest, even with the dimming feature, but I always decorate with additional side lamps & ambient lighting anyway. My daughter’s room used the brushed nickel finish, which goes with her cream, pink & rose gold decor. My son wanted the black finish with black blades as his room is decorated as a “gamer’s” room with color changing LED lighting and greys. Happy with the purchase. The kids, 18 & 16, love them.

So you wanted to turn it on? Battery out? Too bad
So didn’t realize until installed this has no manual control like every other fan does. It’s only via remote and it uses an very odd smaller battery not available most places. So when battery dies you can’t turn it on etc.Another thing you don’t know u til you get is it’s led and thus no bulbs. So good and bad I guess but also it hid the controls in the light in instructions where you can adjust the light by the remote holding the light button you can adjust brightness. But if the led’s ever go out guess it’s new fan time. While this looks good. It needs buttons on it to manually turn on/off or at least make it so you can wire to a wall switch that could control both. The cheap crappy remote it comes with should of spent another $1 on it to make it quality and use a standard battery.====Update boy does this thing eat batteries.. no matter what brand name brand or generic.. and since they are not standard batteries it really sucks… this remote on this unit its CRAPPPPPPPPPPPP. Cmon could you of spent more than $1 making this thing?

Great look, too dim!
This fan looks incredible for the modern theme I have in my office. The remote works great as well. My main issue is that the light portion is not bright enough to serve its purpose. I had to go out and buy another lamp for the corner of the room because the fan light isn’t bright enough to light up my keyboard. I would avoid this if it’s going to be the only source of light in your room.

Good air flow and adequate lighting for a 11 by 10 foot bedroom
We’ve installed three fans in three of our bedrooms a couple of months ago and since then they have worked great! At first, we were concerned the lighting was not enough when compared to the old fans that we had but after a while we found it to be enough as we adapted. This ceiling fan is 1400 lumens, 18 watts. The beam angle is 150 degrees, 2700k color temperature. The fan has great airflow and I often find myself putting it at the lowest setting since the house stays around 73 degrees and would be too cold otherwise. We also have two wall switches from the previous fan and opted to make use of both of them again. What we did was completely bypass the light wire on the receiver effectively making the light button on the remote non-functional. This fan looks great with our wooden floors and has had no issues since installation.

4/5 Have Been Really Good
I have purchased 5 of these and 4 have worked great, however, the last one I got keeps flickering and dying out while one. I had a licensed electrician look at it as well, and it’s something with this particular fan. I am looking to send it back in for a replacement as I think it is defective. Thanks.

Light temperature leaves a lot to be desired
Biggest and only complaint is the light temperature. Makes for a too dark room. Light assembly is not replaceable so stuck with it. Design, airflow, remote features are all pretty good. Change or allow replacement of light and I would buy again.

Good looking fan but very hard to install and the light won’t go off completely 🙁
As much as I love the look of this fan. The most annoying feature is that the light does not turn off completely. With the fan on, the light is on all night in the night mode…It impacts my sleep. We had to disconnect the light connection so that the damn light is off all night….for that reason, the light is completely useless as it cannot be used at all now….Installing it was cumbersome and since we put some much time and effort to install it, we decided to keep it. I would not recommend this product. I googled to see if there was a solution to the light problem, but based on the reviews here and on google it seems like there is NO solution. UGGH…I’m stuck with this fan 🙁

Had a short in wiring
Got the fan completely installed except for last step which is putting in the light kit. Made the electrical connection and turned on wall switch to send power to the unit. Left light hanging while testing. Fan worked fine and light did not turn on unless the remote button was pushed which is as it should be. Finished the mounting of the light and the light came on without touching the remote. Could not get it to go off. Repeatedly tried to mount the light fixture but every time I curled up the wires to fit them in the mounting area, the light would come on. Light would go off if left dangling below and would work as expected with remote but would come on again when trying to mount. Instruction manual was no help. The light fixture was not easy to mount to begin with. Jiggled the connecting wires coming out of the fan and light would go on and off. Assumed there to be a short in those wires. Amazon customer service tried to help but could not. Ended up taking the whole thing down, taking it apart and sending it back. Ceiling fans are a pain to install and now I have to get another and go through the process all over again.

Great fan
The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star for installation was because if you tighten it snug the fan will not turn. You have to keep it slightly undone, which is fine but I had to deal with trial and error until I figured this out. Also fitting a big block in the ceiling was hard until I sat for a while and looked at it.

For the price ~$120, a great replacement for your outdated fans
These aren’t super high end, but they’re an attractive modern replacement for builder grade fans. The blades are engineered material with a faux wood design, but you wouldn’t expect 100% real wood at this price point. Function as expected, and the remote is functional, straightforward, and compact. The previous sentences may come off as a mixed review, but I’m really happy with my purchase. I bought two and they really upgraded the feeling and functionality of my bedroom and living room. I’m considering buying a couple more to put in other rooms.

Dim and Install Isn’t Obvious
This fan looks nice, but the light is very dim. From outside of the room, it’s hard to tell that it’s even on. My Daughter wants a new one with actual lights that light up her room. I did have some trouble figuring out the placement of the remote box in the fan bracket. I had to look up some reviews that had some tips on that. Once I stopped trying to stuff it in the wrong place, it was fine, but it’s all still pretty tight in there. I’ve had much easier installs with similar fans.

Pretty dim light!! (Warm white)
The description says this can have a closemount option but the manual contradicts that. This is also not a sufficient light for an entire room. Wished it came in brighter white color temp. Fan speed was also pretty slow. Didn’t seem to push that much air. Returning!

Good fan awful remotes
The actual fan portion of this is solid as is the light. The light is a little dim but that’s to be expected and so that doesn’t bother me. The problem is the sensor for the remotes on this are terrible. I bought two of these fans. One rarely ever works and the other works maybe half of the time. I’ve changed the batteries tried resetting them, switched remotes for the fans and they continue to have issues. There are no pull strings some everything had to be done via the remote. If anyone has a fix let me know please.

Good fan, difficult installation
This is my second fan from this manufacturer. This one was much more difficult to install. The instructions skip some critical steps and leave the problem up to you to solve. Specifically it was difficult to understand what type of fan box or connections were necessary for the bracket, also how to place the electronics/remote module. You’ll want to have some wire strippers handy for this job too.The fan is of high quality. The remote is the standard across all of these fans. One disadvantage is the brightness of the light. The other fan I have from the big H brand is MUCH brighter. This light is very warm – almost yellow. Wish you could select a color temperature. Fan is VERY QUIET however which is fantastic.

Read my pros and cons. I also wrote some tips when installing.
Ok where to start. First the product looks amazing! It’s reasonably cheap as well. Some people were complaining about the remote receiver not fitting in the canopy of the fan. Don’t listen to them. There’s a specific spot on center of the main hanger. That the receiver just slides onto. Then you can put the canopy on with ease. The main problem I have with the fan is the light. It looks like a theatre light when on. I wish they used a bright white and not a warm one.Pros:1.) Super quite even on high settings.2.) Sleek styling.3.) Reversible motor (to draw heat instead of cool).4.) Reversible fan blades for black or brown blades.5.) Dimmable light.Cons:1.) When installing. They should have a harness style like someone else had mentioned. It’s kinda hard to hold everything while doing the wire nuts. But I figured out if you take off the green ground from the drop hook. And take the remote receiver and wire it all up first before grabbing the motor. It’s way way easier!!! Just wire up the receiver to the house side. Slide it into its spot on the main hanger. Then take the ground you removed from the drop and rescrew it on.2.) The light on the fan looks like a theatre light. Kinda weird. So don’t use that as your only light source for the room.3.) At the highest fan speed it doesn’t push as much air as a normal fan would.

Beautiful Fan but needed extra parts for my angled ceiling
I had to do so much research with this fan. There were many comments that helped me install this fan on Amazon.I have very angled ceilings so needed an 18″ down rod. When i called Honeywell they said i needed a down rod that wasn’t threaded at one end, and unfortunately that’s what I bought first. Then I went to home depot and they were surprised with that comment and said threaded are much stronger. Any way, I when with what honey well told me and got unthreaded on both ends on amazon.I also had to buy a universal angle mount for the fan.I hand no problem with the blades screwing in or the remote adapter fitting in either. I assembled this all first which helped a ton.I like that the light is a bit warmer and it’s dimmable. It’s plenty bright at the highest setting.I had my husband do the wiring that was complicated, but easy for him.I watched a few youtube videos for this to make more sense before I even tried attempting the install.

Good customer service
I thought I had a problem with the light because when the light was turned off but the fan was turned on there was a faint glow from the light. My installer supposedly checked all the wiring and did not find a problem with the wiring. Customer service sent me a new light part, and I still had the same problem. They then sent me a new receiver and remote. When that didn’t solve the problem I had my installer come back and this time he found the disconnected wire that was causing the problem. I now give the product a 4 star rating and a 5 star for customer service going above and behond.

stopped working in 1.5 years
It was a nice looking fan that ran quietly while pushing a surprising amount of air. However it no longer responds to the remote control after 1.5 years. They don’t make them like they used to…

Great fan, DIFFICULT INSTALL and DAMAGED BLADES
This product is nice. Looks nice. The install was a B*TCH! And the instructions…might as well say it was nonexistent. There are only three blades and two of them were scuffed up. You can use either side of the blades and luckily so, because two were damaged on one side. I would recommend checking blades for damage before instilling. By the time we noticed the scuffed on parts, we said F it after all the handwork that went into putting this fan up.

Light and remote
Remote is confusing even with the “key” on the back. It is icons rather than words. The light is very dim even with dimmer all the way up. We are replacing them. Would not buy again.

Nice fan
We replaced our bedroom fan after some remodeling we’d been doing. My husband installed it and said it was pretty straight forward. This fan was much smaller than our old one, however, it works great and is good looking as well. We didn’t have a light before, so that was a nice feature. The remote, which attaches to the wall, was a nice feature too!

The light DOES NOT TURN OFF
Laying in bed trying to sleep right now with this beautiful, quiet, effective ceiling fan casting light down even though the light is supposed to be completely off. The only way to turn the light off is to flip the manual switch, thank goodness we asked the electrician to leave it connected. Because of the way this fan is made, the LED dims down quite a bit, but it doesn’t go completely off unless we flip the (not included) manual switch to shut off electricity to the whole thing. So if we want the light completely off, the fan must be off, as well. Considering disconnecting the light. Not sure how to solve this problem. The remote also sometimes just doesn’t work. No rhyme or reason to it. Not related to the battery or charge. Just doesn’t feel like doing its job sometimes.

Remote is a problem and don’t drop the ceiling screw into the vent holes on the top of the fan
I just finished installing this ceiling fan. It was very helpful on some reviews that said to assemble the fan, light, and wire the remote before climbing the ladder. The problem I had when I turned the power on, the fan worked, but the remote did not, so it was 1 speed. I took ceiling canopy down (with power off) and checked all my wires, including the light wires. Then reset the remote and got the fan buttons to work but not the light. I then called Honeywell support. Very nice person, told me to open remote, turn power off, then on, then within 30 seconds hold the button in the battery compartment for 5 seconds, and to keep doing that until the indicator light flashes, then it all worked. But the remote is very cheap and you sometimes have to push it several times to get it to work.WARNING: when putting the canopy back up on the ceiling the one tiny screw that has to be removed and put back in Ito secure to the bracket is hard to get in. I dropped it several times and the 2nd time it fell right into the vent holes on the top of the fan! I had to take the whole thing down and with a magnet fish out this screw. Then put everything back together. So cover those holes when putting that screw in.The fan is very quiet. It does wobble a lot on high speed though, but slow and medium works fine.

Great fan despite minor installation challenges
I’m adequately satisfied by this fan and thus far it has been reliable. I utilized an additional online video (from a source unrelated to the fan’s manufacturer) to clarify the installation process and was frustrated as a novice DIYer with how challenging it is to get all the wires to fit inside the provided space… but this fan functions very well. The quality appears good; it’s quiet; the remote and all related features (dimming, speed, etc.) work wonderfully. I would purchase again if needed.

Awesome fan
These fans work so well! Our house is so hot (we live in Hawaii), but these fans really mix the air well, and has great ability to deliver cool air. It doesn’t spin ridiculously fast, which I was initially worried about, but it is powerful and effective. So glad I went we with this fan, instead of a cheaper one. The remote function is great too!

DOES NOT HAVE CLOSE MOUNT
One of the reasons I bought this fan was for the flush mount/close mount option listed in the description of this item. In the manual it’s directly states that flush mount and close mount are not available.

Hard to install but good light and CFM
I have not installed many fans in the past but after reading the reviewed I decided to tackle installing 3 of these around my house during the weekend. The overall weight of the fan (18 lbs) meant that these could be installed on a common light box fixture without having to install a ceiling brace (code here is for anything less than 35 lbs it is not required).Assembling the fan takes little time, there is plenty of wire that comes attached with the fan already. To save time, do not remove ALL the fan fixture screws as the canopy just slots in (made this mistake, and had a long time trying to figure this out). Before putting the blades, turn on the fan to make sure it is wired correctly as installing the blades is probably the most time consuming part. As for installing the blades, I simply inserted the screw in the middle hole and tried spinning it with my fingers while moving the blade around with my other hand until it caught in the hole. This are bad design implementations for installation but they make manufacturing of this fan very affordable. After installation the fan does seem very sturdy and outputs plenty of wind. The controller works okay although the buttons themselves are not very intuitive.

Giant installation pain, short lifespan
I’ve bought this fan probably 10x. Cheap and looks good. But the motor wears out quickly. Also, it is a gigantic pain to install. The controller and its wiring takes up almost all the space you need to mount the fan. The last fan I bought came with the wrong screws to seal the hood and no screws to mount the bracket. Be prepared to spend 1-2 hours each time you mount this fan. Also, the light is dim.I’m done punishing myself to save $50. Buying a slightly more expensive fan with superior engineering in the future.

Not so bad, not so good
I got two of these and had them installed a couple of days ago on two small bedrooms, by a contractor. Here are the pros and cons so far:PROS:1- It operates relatively silent and displaces a good amount of air2- Does not wobble (disclaimer: it was installed with a short rod. Not sure how it would perform with a high ceiling and long rod)3- The remote control has some nice features that you don’t see very often4- It can be reversed, was is good but not on the remote, what is bad. The reverse switch is on the motor assembly.CONS:1- THE MOST SIGNIFICANT ONE: The LED light is not bright enough. I cannot understand how some reviewers posted that it is very bright. I am using it on a small bedroom, increased the brightness to the maximum, but it is still not sufficient.2- To make it worse, the LED light kit does not seem to be replaceable. So, there is no way to upgrade the light to a brighter one, or in case of a defect. This is a very bad approach to the design.3- The canopy is small, what makes it more difficult to install the sensor for the remote. Again, bad design. If they had not been already installed, I would have returned them and ordered ones that had better lighting.

Not too bad except for light fan controller and remote
There are a couple of things that I did not like about this and then there are a few that I did like. One thing you need to know is that the Remote Control takes the place of your light switch, unless you want to have a double setup. If you choose to leave your light switch you will have to mount the controller separately. I removed my switch and wired power source constant, mounted my controller directly to the switch cover (broke switch off bracket to mount controller holder). The biggest PAIN IS THE RECIEVER CONTROL MODULE! You have to wire it then figure the best way to STUFF IT INTO the bracket under the Canopy! very difficult! The thing that I do like is that you can remove the remote from the bracket and keep it next to the bed or leave it and set it to go off after like 10 minutes. It also has an away from home feature that will turn your lights on and off if you are not home and want it to appear you are. The controller has a few other features you will enjoy. Good luck…
