Ghost light
I like the remote and fan works great but the light fixture has ghost lighting. We can’t get it to go away and I don’t like that it is on at all times It would be nice to know how to fix this issue.

Light quit in 6 months.
Well, the fan is nice and works well the light quit working within six months and there is no replacement kit as it is an LED built-in light so now I have a fan that looks and works great but no light

Beautiful Quiet Fan
We bought this fan for a large family room and get comments on it all the time. It is very quiet with multiple speeds. The remote has multiple features. Inexpensive for the features and size that you get.

Buy the fan!
I can honestly say for the price this is a great fan. It runs smoothly and the blades are beautiful. Definitely a great purchase. The light is bright in not super large rooms but is a yellow light. Directions are easy to follow.

Not whisper quiet!! This is a hummer!
The media could not be loaded.
This fan looks really good on the ceiling. Directions were easy to read and set up. Mod to good airflow. I don’t like that it hums all the time and the light is yellow. If you’re looking for a whisper quiet, this is not your fan.

exactly as advertisd
I have a large living room. My Concord just went out after 27 years of faultless silent performance, ( a 300 dollar fan in 95).They’ve come a long way apparently. Found no fault in this fans design, assembly, and performance. Extremely silent, you just wait and hear the air moving. I like the lighting. Dim has a slightly shorter span but gets low and high enough for my liking. Clear instructions, anyone can assemble this fan step by step. Obviously long term engineering in this fan. Hats off to ya.

good fan, a bit tedious to hang
We really like this fan, as it looks good, is quiet, and exchanges a lot of air for the size. It was somewhat time-consuming to assemble; however the parts all fit well, and the blades did not need any balancing after it was running. The unit is somewhat heavy (mostly a good thing), but make sure the junction box is well-anchored.

Way nicer in person
I’ll be honest I bought it only because it was on sale but the slick slim design is very clean. This thing moves some serious air will rapidly cool down any room it is in on max. The light is insanely BRIGHT I can’t have it on max light at all the Remote allows you to dim it 10 out of 10 I highly recommend. Even with extremely thorough instructions it is a little difficult to install but worth the challenge or money and will blow you away once installed correctly.

Light mode on remote does not work properly
I gave this a 3 star because the fan gives off good air. The remote however with brand new batteries does not work properly. Takes 40 or more clicks to turn off the light.

Speed is not good
Even at top speed, it seems running slow and doesn’t blow air in all sides. You can fee it only you sit down below the fan. Only size is big, not speed. Fan bulb is not giving enough light, its ok to do basic work under this light, but if you want to study you need additional light.,

Love how this looks and love the features. One minor annoyance during installation.
This looks so nice. It’s a great addition to my home office. Love the remote and it has a ton of features like a variable speed setting (changes speed on its own, imitating a natural breeze), you can dim and brighten the light, you can put it on a walk-out timer so it shuts off after a period of time. I don’t use most of the features, but nice to know they’re there.Installing it was fairly easy except for the transceiver of the remote. There’s a small box that you’re supposed to stuff into the mounting bracket and it’s a royal PIA. They couldn’t make this box any smaller? After finagling it for a while, I finally got it in there but it just seems there could be an easier way to do this. Now that it’s all set up though, I love it. It adds sophistication and class, along with a tad bit of contemporary but not too much.

Horrible, Twice I had to get a part replaced
There is a bit of a scam here. This is NOT a Honeywell product. The manufacturer is Hong Kong- China. They must rent the Honeywell name to give the air of quality. To be fair, their CS is in Tennessee & they pick up fast. No talking to a computer. They did send out the needed parts promptly. First they sent me out a replacement light kit as parts fell out of the package. Then after it was all done, the light would not turn off so they sent me a new matched remote & receiver which meant I had to drop the canopy & rewire the new receiver. Finally it works & the can be turned on & off. I also strongly advise a customer to preassemle the entire fan on the bench or you will need a 3d hand to do it on the ceiling. Now that it is finally complete, the fan spins smoothly & quietly with no wobble whatsoever. The light is ok. IMO, the aesthetics are nice. I did get a lot of complements on its looks so it got 2 tars rathe yhan one.

Beautiful Fan
I needed to update the fan in my bedroom and this fan was perfect! It’s certainly a beautiful fan and has just the amount of modern-style I was looking for in my master bedroom. I love the remote control which is used for the fan speed as well as the light. A nice feature I didn’t realize it had was the ability to dim the light with the remote. One suggestion would be to highlight the remote buttons easier. They rely simply on a raised icon to tell the difference between the buttons but if you don’t know what they are, it’s hard to tell. Also, the light can be bright which is exactly what I wanted, however it’s not the ‘softer bright’ I was hoping for, it does have a bit of a LEDish brightness to it which I guess was expected. Overall though I would definitely get this fan again and my installer actually asked where I got it because he was looking for just the exact type of fan. Oh yea…I had a local person install it…I don’t mess with electricity or plumbing LOL

Great fan!
Great fan, no wobble out of the box.My only few things about it are:1. The light is a bit dim. I like this for the room it’s in, but it’s not super brike. It is a nice warm white though.2. I’d expect to be able to double tap the light button on the remote to go full bright, you push and hold to dim, push and hold again to brighten. As it gets to full bright it starts dimming again, so you’re never quite sure ifyou’re full bright or not. A simple double tap on to go full bright would solve this issue.3. The reverse switch isn’t accessible unless you remove the light cover, easy twist to get that off, but it’s a bit weird that’s hidden. It does make the fan look nicer without exposed “stuff” but it is an extra step to get to it.BUT…. that said, I’d buy another Honewell fan in a heartbeat, just a very quality build compared to other brands.

Bought 2 great looking fans but remotes are junk!
We bought 2 of these Honeywell Kaliza gunmetal ceiling fans from Amazon that look great but the remote controls that came with them were junk! Not good! Had to have our electrician to install 2 new remotes from Amazon. Now the fans work great!

Looks great but not easy to install
This ceiling fan looks super modern and luxurious. The LED lights are brighter than expected and the fan is super powerful and puts off a really good wind flow.My only complaint is that compared to name brand ceiling fans such as Hunter, it’s a lot more complicated to install and there are a lot of things that didn’t make sense and we had to do a different way than instructed.Thankfully my dad helped me and he has experience with electrical work and putting up ceiling fans.If you have never put up lighting or a ceiling fan before, I suggest seeking help from someone who does. There is no way I could’ve done this one myself.Another complaint I have is that you pretty much have to use the remote for the fan because there are no pull switches. Even though it looks great without it. It takes some getting used to.

Nice fan after fixing problems
Very stylish. Love the two color options on reversible blades. Somewhat tedious to install but straightforward. After installing, the remote would only operate the fan and light from two places in our room, and intermittently at that. I suspected a problem with the receiver or antenna so I changed antenna position. Helped slightly but not enough. Contacted Amazon support who put me in touch with manufacturer customer support. They agreed that remote or receiver was likely culprit and sent replacement. Once these were changed, fan and light operate properly from anywhere in room. Very nice fan that gets great complements from guests.

Works great but
This fan when finally hooked up properly works great. The instructions we received were the worst. My FIL does everything and anything electrical but this one gave him a scratch your head moment, until we figured out 2 of the colors were incorrect. So when going by the diagram and color coded list make sure to read the labels on the actual wires thoroughly.

Beautiful but yellow
the fan is beautiful – operates nicely – quiet and turns the air – but the light is VERY YELLOW – there is no way to change the LED lights – it goes from dim to bright but even at the brightest it VERY yellow. it’s like looking through a jaundiced veil. the warm white is not mentioned in the description. If you want the fan for ambience it will work but if you want it in a place to help read or do work that requires the ability to see details then this is NOT the fan for you. make sure to find one that changes temperatures through to daylight white.

Nice fan but could be better
Overall nice looking fan and install was fairly easy but the fan does make more noise than I would like. Also the light does not dim in spite of what it says. One issue I had on install was that the remote batteries were nearly dead so initially thought fan was broken. Had to switch up batteries in remote and finally got fan to turn on. Had to order new batteries since they are cr2032 type.

Beautiful fan
Beautiful fan, quiet and efficient. Only problem, it isn’t dimmable. I had the light kit that came with it installed. Maybe it isn’t a dimmable bulb but I can’t find anything in the instructions referring to that or what kind of replacement to buy. For the time being, I’ll live with it.

Super quiet
Probably the best feature is how quiet this fan is. The remote control could use a better lay out but it works properly. It does seem to move air very good. The LED candlelight power is low so be prepared to another type of lighting. I knew it was low when I bought it but lower than I would have expected it.

A very nice fan but beware!
First of all, this is an excellent ceiling fan: 6 reversible blades, quiet even at high speed, great looking, dimmable lights, in short, everything I was looking for but…do not buy this fan if your install point is a sloped surface. I bought 3 and 2 of my locations had a sloped ceiling. My husband has installed over 50 ceiling fans in various homes over the years and no sloped ceiling was ever a problem. Normally the yoke that attaches to the ceiling along with the ball joint at the end of the down rod allows for fans to pivot and hang vertically but someone goofed on this model. When the ceiling is sloped and the ball joint is hung, the top of the ball joint assembly hits the remote receiver that must be installed above it thus preventing it from hanging properly. He had to use the assembly from 2 of the fans I was replacing even though the finish was dissimilar to make them work or I would have had to send them back. Yes I liked them that much that I used my old fan parts so I didn’t have to send them back. It’s a poor design for a sloped ceiling. And all 3 of the remote batteries were bad. Not your run-down-to-the-hardware-store-and-replace-them variety either. These babies were specialty batteries at $5.50 each so I ended up spending another $17.82 just so they’d work. Yup, I liked them that much. Shame to give them 3 stars, otherwise it would have been 5 without a doubt.

Difficult Install and Warm Yellow LED
I wanted a modern silver (or chrome) fan to match other new fixtures. This arrived quickly with parts packaged well, but the blades appear very cheap (painted silver). Awful instructions; it’s probably better to use common sense and experience than instructions included. As others have said, this fan is very frustrating to install, especially if you are using included download (very short). Leave out the remote receiver if you already have a double switch wired. You will need a very short stubby screwdriver to attach fan blades as there is not enough clearance because of the compact fan motor and short down road. The mounting six blade brackets are SHARP. I nearly impaled my jugular. Half-way through the four hour install, I wanted to.There are multiple-stages of wiring due to receiver box with little room in cover to cram them when capped. LED light wiring barely fits in space allotted in light cover. The LED light is very warm and yellow. It does not change to different colors as other LED fans do. Remote works sometimes. I have no idea what the half of the icons mean.My fan is not wobbling. It puts out medium breeze on highest setting. It seems to be slightly speeding up and slowing down on its own. I will never, ever buy from this company again, and I order fixtures made in China often. I should have ordered a different fan for less and spray painted blades silver.

Remote has some opportunities!
Just a couple of points as to the fan we installed, 1. instructions are not clear as to wiring the remote receiver located in the top of the installation bracket, matter of fact the instructions were not for the receiver that was shipped. Be sure to look at the wiring diagram on the actual receiver to ensure you wire properly, the only other issue is the actual remote control is slow/delayed in its response time. Pressing button to turn on fan or light make take several pushes of the button. We do have this installed on a 14.5 feet high ceiling! Other than those two issues the fan looks great, works well (except remote).

Not as quiet as others say
The fan looks nice. It doesn’t move very much air and after having it a few months, it has a clicking sound that wakes us up in the night. When it’s not clicking, it’s quiet, but it also isn’t moving very much air. I’m trying to figure out if I can return it still.

My favorite feature is…
The onboard memory. If you turn it off in the morning with the fan and light on by the power switch, it will start right back up right where you left off. This saves aggravation trying to hit the right button in the dark. The remote should have a better feel such as raised buttons in the dark for easy access. Notice that light switches aren’t buttons (coincidence?). The noise level is about average, it was more quite, but after about 100hrs you’ll start getting the normal motor hum. Install was easy, but they fool you making it look like it can be base-mounted when it cannot. Learned that the hard way. One thing I did not like is that there is a gap between the base and the ceiling so that’s kind of ugly and needs to be shimmed.

Love this ceiling fan!
I love this ceiling fan! We replaced an old ugly/clunky fan that came with our house with this. It doesn’t make any sound at all, provides a nice gentle breeze, and I love the style of it. The light is dimmable, which I also love. As per my husband, it was also easy to install. Highly recommend! I couldn’t find an exact match for the gunmetal color for a longer downrod, so used matte black that I got at Lowes. Doesn’t match exactly, but that close to the ceiling you really don’t notice as it’s very close. (I found the brushed nickel, or pewter colors too light/grey)

Good looking but…
Looks terrific and moves a lot of air, which is important. However, the remote control only works sometimes (and even then some functions only work intermittently) even after re-pairing the remote with the unit several times. Frustrating!

Nice Modern Airmover
I was debating for two weeks which fan to get for my Mancave, and I kept coming back to this one. I wanted a ceiling hugger, and while this one CAN be hooked up as a ceiling hugger, it only brings the blades about 5.5 inches from the ceiling; blades for airflow need to be a minimum of 8. So, I used the downrod as instructed.I love the modern design of this fan. I did not want the globed or sconced fans ingrew up with. This is my man cave! I needed a cool modern fan! This one fit the bill. It’s definitely well built and sturdy. It came with weights for the blades, but it’s well enough built and sturdy enough to not need them, at least for my ceiling.Installation was not difficult, especially if one has installed fans before, but still easy enough if one hasn’t. I never installed a fan that works strictly with a remote before, so that gave me pause for a second, as it has a receiver that you have to attach. The LED’S are bright on their brightest settings (they do dim, but you have to hold the button down and wait to get to where you want it), the one thing I don’t like about this glass does not diffuse the light out, but more straight down. It is not a huge deal as I don’t have lighting issues in the room.Overall, I am very excited about the fan. It moves a lot of air, even on the lowest setting! But that’s what you get with a 56″‘er!

Beautiful quiet fan, remote is garbage.
Fan works well, was fairly easy to install. It is quiet, and moves air around nicely. However, the remote is completely useless. It’s connecting, because it’ll dim the light, but wont turn the light off. Even if I stand on a ladder and hold the remote directly next to the receiver, it won’t function. I’m going to have to remove the fan because I want to have it on at night, but if I can’t turn the light off, well… it’s coming down.

Very quiet ceiling fan with remote

Love my new ceiling fan it is so quiet & it is great to have a remote & not have to get up to change settings or turn on/off. Only thing we thought they forgot the wire nuts but we later found them in with the remote. You may need 2 people to install the fan but my son did it pretty much by himself I just handed him things while he was on the ladder.Having an electric screwdriver is helpful.

Keeping it Cool
We decided to update our fan with a Honeywell Ceiling Fan. Our other fan was still very much operational but had no remote control. It had served us well for several years without trouble. The Kaliza Modern LED Ceiling Fan with Remote Control is perfect other than the fact that the difference between medium and low speed is not detectible. The installation went pretty well until, like any other, until it came time for using the remote. We called technical support for assistance, left a message and NEVER got a return call. We back tracked our installation, making sure all wires were connected. The line for remote reception to control the fan may have not been hanging long enough and that may have been the problem because the fan worked properly with remote after extending the line out more. The fan is aesthetically pleasing, however, like I mentioned there technically is really only two speeds. The Customer Support is totally left to be desired and without support, people who are first time installers may find it difficult to install properly.

Looks great, unclear instruction manual
While it looks great, it was a little bit of a pain to install. The instructions are not super clear, so I wanted to provide a couple of tips.1.) You can mount the initial mounting piece first before bringing the whole fan up there. The down rod just hooks right on and doesn’t require you to screw it in with the whole fan up there. This might be common sense, but we were very inexperienced when it came to fan installation.2.) Make sure you screw the fan blades on before mounting. This will make your life much easier!3.) For the remote receiver piece, there is no red wire as mentioned on the diagram. The wire that the manual states is red is actually black. It took us (my husband and I) about 2 hours to install, and that’s with little experience doing this sort of installation. My husband has done some other wiring work so he has slightly more experience, but not specifically for ceiling fans.

Awesome Fans – I have three now! Two Gun Metal and One Pewter
The fans look great, the air flow is great, the light is bright, the remotes work properly and they are silent. Oh and they are easy to install 🙂 I have two in the gun metal and I just bought one in the pewter. The gun metal is darker in person than in the pictures. I was actually disappointed when it arrived, because it looked so dark, and I contemplated returning it. However, once I took it out of the box I could really see how pretty and unique the color is and I bought a second one. The color does vary depending on the lighting in the room, but it’s mostly dark and shiny. One fan did have a rattling noise, I realized it was the light fixture vibrating so I put some tape inside on the rail/groove and it’s all good now. I would highly recommend these! I posted several pics of the gun metal to show how it changes with the lighting. I haven’t hung the pewter fan yet, but posted a pic to show what the finish actually looks like.

Impressive looking fan that does the job well.
Purchased an open box discounted unit that arrived in just two days. It appeared upon opening that it was never installed or used in any way. Packing was equal to or better than more expensive name brands purchased previously. All parts and screws were present and packed in factory zip lock bags. Assembly was simple and should not present a challenge to anyone who has installed fans previously. Unless you are electrically challenged and have little or no experience with home wiring it should require about an hour to install. If in doubt have a competent person do the work. Assembling the fan was straight forward as the manual has photos. I never bothered to use it but recommend others read it before proceeding. Some reviews noted that installation on cathedral or sloped ceilings was an issue. Ours is over 15′ with a good pitch and was no big problem. The ball joint does bind on the 2′ down rod slightly but works as required. You will need to align the sending unit above it but it does slide in ok. The only major caveat was a non functioning remote. The red light did present a continuous image and would function intermittently. Rather than return it, we decided to contact the manufacturer via the phone # in the Amazon site listing. The customer service operator was knowledgeable and friendly. She did insist on me hard wiring the unit to determine if the fan operated properly which I already had done. Once I assured her there were no issues she offered to send a new remote package including the sensor module. It arrived about 10 days later but we were able to get the unit to work by shutting off the wall switch when not needed. Now all features work perfectly and the fan proved a worthwhile purchase. Should we need another fan replaced, we would not hesitate to buy another. Some reviewers complained the air movement volume was insufficient. As our ceiling is probably higher than most, we often use the mid level speed more with this fan than our previous luxury class monster.

This fan is stylish, quiet and pushes a lot of air
I love this fan. I bought it for my master bedroom which is large and has vaulted ceiling. It’s stylish, quiet, and pushes a lot of air. Since the room has vaulted ceilings, I bought a 12″ downrod to replace the 4″ downrod it comes with. It’s reversible, so cools a room in summer, warms a room in winter. Standard fan install. The larger size and 6 blades suits larger rooms. The LED light is bright, but unfortunately not dimmable, but that isn’t a deal breaker for me. I had to replace the first fan ordered because both the fan and box were delivered damaged. Everything in the box was scattered and scratched up or cracked and broken. It’s as if someone unpackaged the fan, and then repackaged it by tossing all the pieces into the box. See the third picture. The replacement order had no damage to either the box or fan. See second picture for the replacement fan packaging.

When it was unboxed I was disappointed in the quality of appearance of the blades. However, once it was hung, it looked nicer. I hung in a high ceiling room. Remote works well and the light is adjustable when installed. Good value for the money.

Bought a used one and I love it, buying a 2nd one for my room
It was a little involved to install, but SO worth it. It looks fantastic and works like a dream! My daughter likes it super cold in her room and she’s run it every day on high for a year and we all love it. I bought it used and I am ready to buy one for my room. The prices have increased since my first purchase.

DO NOT BUY – Customer Service Grade F – Product Grade ?? Made too much noise to grade
I purchased this fan because of the Honeywell name. However, it is not made by Honeywell but instead OEMed by HKC Palm Coast Imports. After receiving the fan, I found the remote to be broken. I contacted support and another was sent. I installed the fan and initially was happy. However, over time, the fan began to wobble significantly more and more which would create a noise. This noise at night forced me to have to use earplugs to get through the night. Yes, it was that loud. I contacted support again, and three weeks into waiting for them to respond, I had to remove the fan and replace it with another brand ( 52 Inch Potomac, Sapphire Blue, Remote Control, Smart Ceiling Fan – worked perfectly ). I had contacted support on July 25, 2023, and just now, September 4, 2023, heard back. Six weeks later is lousy, especially during this 100+ heatwave and trying to reduce the AC bill. I contacted them each week by phone and was told they are busy with a long backlog. That is terrible customer support. Well, once I read the reply, I was done with Honeywell. They explained that I needed to tape down the wires in the fan as it might be due to the wires making the sound. I wasn’t aware that wires move. Here is their actual suggestion “We do see a slight wobble. The ticking you may hear could be the wire connectors tapping on the inside of the housing of the fan. We would advise to tape the wire connections down so they are stable and freely moving. “. If the fan did not wobble, there would be no noise as wires don’t move on their own. And is stable and freely moving contradictory? They are full of it, rushed the reply, didn’t include their so called troubleshooting manual which is bunk. Save your money and try another brand. These folks are poor quality and customer support in my opinion.

Fantastic fan
Bright white light. Great speeds. Moves a lot of air. Incredibly quiet. Modern looking. Not super easy to put together but easy enough. Just took a bit of time. Installing was easy. Looks super sharp and so quiet! Perfectly balanced right out of the box.

Well made
As I said, in the other review, these are very well-made. I bought two of them. I’ve installed many of these over the years and this is a quality sailing fan heavy durable parts.

Love the sleek modern look
I bought this about a year ago and I’m just now installing it and I love it! I waited so long because I knew this wasn’t going to put out allot of light because if the frosted glass enclosure, but my old ceiling fan lit my entire living room, so I would need to install my led recessed lights first, which I had to work my nerves up to be able to install myself. After finally installing the recessed lights, I took my old fan down and installed this one. The directions were pretty easy to follow. The only issue I had was one of the screws was stuck and it took allot of ideas to get it out. After I fixed that, finished installation, it was done. It’s super stable, the middle doesn’t wobble at all, no noise. You WILL need other lighting in the room because the light from this is VERY dim with the cover on. Overall, I LOVE IT!

Great fan, but dimmable light does not turn off at night
I like this fan, but at night there is a light from the LED that can be annoying. I have tried everything to turn it off.

Has a few things I am not happy with
I’ve had to use this fan for a couple of months now and this is how I feel about it :: First thing I do not like about this fan is when you dim the light it’s not that dim. Second thing it doesn’t put off enough wind when it on high. It runs like a medium speed compared to my other ceiling fans The third thing I don’t like is the features on the remote control are useless. I will never use anything but the light on and off and turning the fan on and off. The variable speeds for the fan are useless to me, because I have to leave it on high just to get a slight breeze.. All of the other features I have no use for. I will not buy another one of these ceiling fans. I am actually shopping for a new fan that I’m going to have to pay ( again )for someone to put up for me again.

Light isn’t bright
The fan looks good and works fine but the lighting sucks. My room walls are painted a medium gray color with a white ceiling and the light barely touches the ceiling, if that makes sense. I have to turn on a lamp along with the ceiling fan light just to be able to see in my dresser drawers. I’m regretting buying the fan with LED lighting as it’s just not bright enough when needed.

Would of Loved to give it 5 stars but……
would have loved to give this 5 stars but it was missing the hardware package. Now big deal almost everyone has a few screws laying around. This was one of the easiest fans I have ever installed, read many reviews on how hard it was to install, LOL anyone with above a 3rd grade education can put this in. Remote works great and it blows air fairly hard, I read review on this too, so i did a bit of modifying shims and it’s a hard wind now. Great price too

Increase air flow significantly
I installed this fan with the 4” down rod that came with this fan and was very disappointed with the air flow. I thought I had made a huge mistake because I purchased three of these fans. What I discovered was that by changing out the down rod for a longer down rod the air flow has increased significantly. There has to be sufficient clearance from the ceiling or the air flow is restricted, to sometimes almost non-existent.What a difference it makes with a longer down rod. I bought a brushed nickel down tod from Amazon for my pewter fan and the color match is perfect. This fan uses a 3:4” diameter rod and I increased the length to 8”. I bought a 12” rod and cut it down to 8” and redrilled the holes. Assuming you have at least a 9’ ceiling, the 12’ rod should work fine with no modifications.I am now sooooo happy with this fan and am surprised it does not come with several different length rods. Now what a beautiful functional fan this is.Regards

Really sharp looking
I bought two. I liked the simple rustic design and the longer blades. My ceilings are high and the rooms are large and I am so happy with the scale and power of the fans. The remote is perfect. My only wish is for a dimmer feature. These fans are sharp!!
