Clean air
Got this one for my room. My cats like the air that flowing out. The sound isn’t bad and I kind of like the noise and helps me sleep better. This works pretty good that I got another one for the other bedroom and then got a bigger one for my livingroom. My neighbor bought the bigger bigger one and loved it so I got some. Well worth it! When I cook downstairs the smell goes up into my bedroom, this clears the smell pretty quickly! I haven’t tried putting any oil sent in yet. Maybe. But I have a totally of three now. Great buy!!!

I am very impressed with the 300S!
This unit cleans very well for its size. The unit is quiet and it sets up very easily, the Bluetooth connection and functionality are very well laid out and easy to manage. You can have it set up where the device will send you notifications when bad air quality and good air quality or detected. As a test in my room I have the device set to Auto function and then look at the reading the reading was in the good category I went to the other side of the room lit a match and within about a minute or two the device displayed bad air quality show the amount of the impurities in the air and went to cleaning the air out it took about 3 or 4 minutes after detection and it was back to good air quality. I will be buying a second unit for the other room in the house.

Good Air Filter – Easy to Set Up
I like this air filter. It was easy to set up and seems to work well (I have not done any scientific tests on whether it has actually improved the air quality). It is not too loud and seems to make the air feel more fresh. I would recommend this item.

Cost effective for small spaces/limited use
An air purifier is not a complicated device. It is a fan, and an air filter. The fan pulls air through the air filter, and catches various particles and impurities in the air. As long as you have a decent HEPA filter, and a fan that has enough velocity to circulate the room air through the filter effectively, it will work to clean the air. You can build one yourself with a box fan and some high quality furnace filters and duct tape if you have to.So what distinguishes this one from the hundreds of others out there, why is it so popular?(1) Low up front costs – this has enough power to handle a small room effectively and a true HEPA filter at a pretty low initial cost.(2) Easy to live with – the fan is very quiet except on high, and even on high it isn’t obnoxiously loud. Changing the filter takes about 10 seconds and is easy to do. There is a pre-filter to catch large dust/animal hair and the like which you can vacuum to extend the life of the HEPA filter for small particles. The unit itself is not huge or ugly, so it can sit in the corner of most rooms without being objectionable.(3) Available filters – this unit’s extreme popularity means that there will likely be filters available for many years.(4) It does work – I bought an air quality meter after the recent wildfire smoke episode, and it shows me that this thing does a pretty good job in small rooms. In bigger rooms it will still provide some benefit, but it is really not able to move enough air quickly enough to clean a large room.Downsides:The filters are relatively small, so they will have to be changed fairly frequently if you run the unit constantly. How frequently? I don’t know, your mileage will vary depending on how many pets you have, how much wildfire smoke is in your area, etc. But I would expect to buy at least two a year if comparing this to other units that may have larger filters you need to change less often. So think about the total running costs and not just the up front cost when comparison shopping here. If you are thinking about saving money by trying to run this in a bigger room than it is designed for, don’t go down that road. You do need to size your unit to the area you are trying to keep clean. A large room needs a larger unit with a bigger fan and a bigger filter. Also, all of these things are quieter if not running on high. So it is better to get a bigger unit even one that handles more than you are asking it to, and then run it slower and change the filters less often versus trying to save money up front and then driving the thing as hard as it will go to barely get any benefit.

Works great!
I’ve only had this for a few weeks. I have it sitting behind my recliner in our livingroom. We have a bigger sized livingroom than I think this airpurifer can handle. But for it being close to our recliners I really do breath better. Haven’t had indoor allergies bothering me with it running. And it’s quiet. I use the night time level at night. Then I’m the morning I turn on the level 1. I only wish I could afford the Bluetooth connected air purifier because I have to move the end table by my recliner out every night so I can reach the unit to turn on the night time mode. I haven’t yet tried the timer mode this unit comes with. But yes I love this purifier.

Absolutely beast of a machine
This thing is great. It is built with good quality and is sturdy without being too heavy. Has some nice features such as fan speed, hourly cycles (2, 4, 6, and 8 hour options) , and a mode to turn off the light for all the other light sensitive sleepers out there. It is a little noisy even on the lowest setting but no more than a box fan on the lowest setting. Not a terrible price for an air purifier and worth protecting my lungs. I use this to clean up the air in the room I 3d print in and it has a measurable effect on how quickly the air quality (VOCs) improves.

CORE 300 (NO WIFI) THIS THING IS BOSS!!!!
GET THIS MACHINE!!!! (long but please read before you buy) I like to test things before I review them to make sure I am truly happy with the product, so 2 weeks is kinda early for me simply because I can’t believe how good this thing is. I recommend not getting the WiFi version save your money here’s why, you never really turn it off I recommend that cannabis users such as myself run it on high when you’re smoking and 1 to 2 all the time depending on if you’re cooking or something like that. So IMO there is no reason for all the WiFi app stuff at all because it really never gets turned off at all. I have an Ecobee Pro thermostat and have watched in real time the air quality levels and was shocked to see that if I leave my bedroom door open this little beast can still filter the entire apartment in a pretty short amount of time and the place isn’t that small at all. Now for the filter if you smoke cannabis or smoke at all the filter it comes with will not touch it at all (idk about cigarettes I don’t smoke them). I got mine set it up and noticed 0 difference after smoking decided to look at the genuine filter options and found the smoke filter. It came later the same day, It was easy to install turned the machine back on and no joke almost immediately noticed a difference in air quality. It chops down orders and pet fur like a boss I just did my first filter vacuum (a must every 2 weeks IMO for pet families and smokers) and was shocked by the amount of dust, fur, and filth already on the outer filter layer. So if you’re not using this for smoking you will be highly impressed with this little machine the way it comes, it’s not overly noisy and sleep mode to me is too quiet I leave mine on the 2nd setting most of the time. You will not be disappointed for the price and quality you can’t beat it must have if your looking for cleaner air and less orders in the house. Pictures are after just 2 weeks of use amazing.

No disappointments.
This is a lot smaller than I thought it would be–which is great because it is less conspicuous. The air smells noticeably cleaner within 30 minutes of use. We have it set on auto and whenever we open the wood stove door to add wood or start a fire, it automatically detects what little smoke rolls out of the stove and cuts on automatically and shuts off automatically when it no longer detects smoke. This is a great energy saver and extends the life of the filter. The blue tooth app on my cell phone allows me to control all the features remotely. We have an open floor plan kitchen/dining room that is roughly 40′ x 16′ and this handles this space easily.

I can’t express the relief I feel!
I received this next-day delivery, just in time for my neighbor’s Sunday dinner! We live in an old, uninsulated apartment building where the kitchen air ducts feed into the walls. So all sorts of odors flow through the light switches, outlets and even back through my kitchen fan. I’ve managed to seal what I can but it’s still incredibly annoying. I don’t even like my own kitchen smells lingering ! I’ve spent a fortune on odor eliminating candles with temporary success. I’ve been researching air purifiers for YEARS and haven’t been able to pull the trigger until now. Read all the reviews on this one and seemed the best fit for my budget.I don’t love tech and electronics overtly visible in my space, but I’m very happy with the aesthetic – and it fits perfectly on the little plant stand I already had (also from Amazon). It’s a simple little machine, ready to go right out of the box. Just make sure to unwrap the filter inside (thank you to other reviewers for the warning!) I’ve had it running for about 30 minutes and I can already tell the difference! Is it me or does it kind of smell like baby doll plastic? In the best possible way, of course!Overall, I’m super excited about this purchase and have felt an incredible amount of tension leave my body since switching it on. It’s still a little early for Sunday dinner, but I’m very optimistic that this bad boy is going to make a huge difference in my life. Great investment and will pay for itself with what I save from buying all those candles!

We like the product the noise that makes for sleep is very pleasant almost like a white noise also has an option for quite mode if you prefer. PLEASE do not do like us we used for a while until figure out that need to remove the plastic for the filter 🤣 fun fact we read the manual and do not mention that as far as we could tell. Honest Review
This product is honestly amazing. It was so expensive and coming from a broke college student, get it. The dorms get so dirty and stinky, but this literally improves my breathing as I am also asthmatic, the air quality (even my roommate noticed and mentioned it), and removes most/every smell. It is also very quiet even on its loudest/max setting. It is bigger than I thought too, but I don’t mind it.

I Love It!
I really didn’t know anything about this brand when I purchased it. I tried to do some research and find one with a good filter. I do like the filter on this one. It seems large enough to really filter the air. I turn this on before I cook smelly foods and it helps to reduce the odor. I’m very happy with it. I purchased two of them and my son said he wanted to try one in their bedroom. Their dog sleeps in the bedroom in her bed on the floor. They are seeing or rather smelling the difference in their room with the air purifier running most of the time. I think they are loving it as well. Great price for the size and quaility! I will be purchasing another one in the future for my bedroom. 🙂

GREAT!
This is one of the best purchases I made! I am always scared of my place smelling like pets and this is the solution to my problems. It collects so much dust and you can’t hear it unless you are standing directly next to it. It has four main settings: slow, medium, high, and sleep. All except high are very quiet and even the high setting isn’t too loud. My dog nor cat seem to mind it and it keeps my place smelling fresh.

Made my Son with a sensitive nose happy.
I moved into a new place and my son said there was a funky smell. He is in college and not with me all the time. I got this right before his next trip home, ran it about a day and a half and he said the funk was gone. Works great
I’m really happy with this as it was a random purchase. We had a lot of dust collecting in our office and this was a quick purchase I hadn’t thought through. With that said, it has been running since we plugged it in and after using it for a month or so the filter shows it’s working. It’s small but doing a great job for a large area. It is a little louder than I’d like but you forget about it after a while. If you purchase, make sure to open the bottom and put the filter in, taking the piece inside out. The instructions tell you this but it’s easy to miss.

Great cleaner air
This air purifier works very well. It’s helped my daughter who has sinus issues to breath and to sleep much better in her room. I’m thinking about purchasing another one for our living room. We kept it for a while in our living room which is adjacent to our kitchen. I noticed that when my wife cooked fish, fried chicken, and other items that often left a certain odor since we were using it in the living room, the odors would not come up the stairs to the 2nd floor of our home. It really does work well.

Compact and easy to use
I run this unit at night to reduce dust and allergens to hopefully sleep better. The low speed is quiet enough for me to sleep, but there is a quieter mode available if needed. I can’t say this unit has solved my problem, but it is working as advertised and I’m happy with my purchase.

Highly recommend!
Just had this one night, but wow! I turned it in high and used the timer for 2 hours, then turned it on medium. Its quiter than the other brand I had and works so much better. I use the snorelab app to try and reduce my loud snoring due to a deviated septum and allergies. This thing is a game changer.According to the app, using this reduced my snoring volume and time by 40%. It changed my snore time from almost 4 hours to about one and a half! Before the max snore volume was “epic” and with using this it came down to light snoring with a few loud spikes! Nothing changed in my routine except adding this filter. It’s larger than I thought it would be but still fits nicely on my dresser. I just purchased the mini one for the bedroom in our cabin.I’m ecstatic. Now I’m going to give the bedroom a ceiling to floor “spring cleaning” and see what happens next!

Good air purifier
This purifier is attractive, easy to set up and use and when needed easy to clean. I use it for dust, cat dander, odors and other allergens. The air seems to smell cleaner and fresher. The one thing I don’t like is that there isn’t a way to read the status of the air cleaning and it doesn’t automatically increase the fan speed when and if needed.

LEVOIT ROOM AIR PURIFIER GREAT!
I love it! I had an old large big Square Air Purifier that I had put on rollers. Old Purifier took up too much floor space. When I kept seeing the Newer Smaller Purifiers, I reviewed a few on Amazon. This Levoit is sooo easy to use. So easy to install the enclosed Filter. Very Quiet. I am sensitive to noise & did have it on Medium & it did not interfere w. me getting to sleep. Nor would it interfere w. watching, listening to TV in the room. Was having Nasal Congestion. All house had been well dusted & Hall Filter was new & clean. Have no cold nor allergies that I knew of. But had been using Rx “Ointments” for Pain. I like it. Leaves each room smell more clean. Apparently a Good Air Purification System. I do recommend especially if you want to move it from room to room over a day or so. Easy & convenient to set atop a table or counter. An Elderly person w. reasonable upper body strength & reasonable short mobility can carry it. Can’t imagine one would use on the floor because it’s not that tall. But I don’t know about Floor use.

Background noise

Game changer.
I only just got this yesterday and used it last night for the first time but I feel compelled to write a quick review already. This thing is a game. changer. Ever since moving to Texas, I suffer from terrible seasonal allergies. I never have in my life until now (turns out I’m allergic to a handful of trees that are native around here. Fun.) Some years are worse than others but this year is baaad. For the past few weeks my mornings have had me waking up congested and unable to breathe, blowing wads of snot out of my nose (sorry!), and with a itchy/scratchy sore throat. First thing I do is take an allergy pill and wait in misery until it finally seems to kick in around mid morning. (I’ve had a terrible time finding meds that work too. It just sucks.) I don’t know why I never thought to get an air purifier. I guess when I thought of air purifiers I’d always think of the fancy Dyson ones that cost hundreds of dollars. I mean, puh-lease. Not happening. Then I found this little guy. Had great reviews, was the perfect little size for our master bedroom (216sqft), and reasonably priced with reasonably priced replacement filters. In a plee of desperation I talked my husband into us trying it. It got in yesterday (quicker than expected, yay!). I immediately unboxed it upon getting home from work and plugged it in. It says you only need to run it for about 15-20 minutes on high to cycle the room but I set that little baby on high with a two hour timer and let it run. When it was time for bed, I set the 6 hour timer on sleep mode. The sleep mode is great. It’s a lot more quiet than I expected. I still expected to be able to hear a little white noise from it (which doesn’t bother me at all) but unless I lift my head off the pillow and really listen, I can only just baaarely hear it. And I have it on my side of the bed about 3 feet away. Our home air system is louder than it on sleep mode. If you enjoy white noise, you could probably just run it on low and be fine. It has a button to turn off the indicator lights at night too so you don’t have bright lights keeping you awake if that’s a problem for you. Anyway, I woke up this morning with NO allergy symptoms. None. No congestion, absolutely clear nasal passages, and NO sore throat at all! I’m blown away. I’ll try to come back and revise this review if my opinion changes but after the first night and the relief I was FINALLY able to feel from my allergies this morning I absolutely rate this thing 5 stars. Worth every penny!

Excellent air purifier
I’ve had this air purifier for 6 months now. It is centrally located in my living room (1750 sq ft house) I just changed the filter and WOW, it was filthy. It is recommended to change the filter every 6 months, so I did. I was surprised at how much dirt and dust this purifier kept me from breathing in. I will be the smaller versions for my bed rooms. It’s very quiet and even more quiet on sleep mode. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

I’ve been waking up with stuffy nose I finally decided to buy this I bought the wireless one the connects to Wi-Fi and has smart features and the smart features were even worth it for the more money that it was worth because I had it actually powered off but the sensor still sensed the air quality and tested it and then asked to turn on the machine which I okayed and it’s been an auto I usually just leave it running on auto the entire time there is night time mode or sleep mode my bad there’s higher and lower qualities and the Wi-Fi capability and smart features are worth it because you can control it for your phone although I will say this unit is actually too big for the room this unit is meant for 1200 square feet plus if I’m not mistaken so actually this is meant for my entire house not just in my room so if you’re going to get one for a room I was just getting a smaller size model

Great purifier, it does what it supposed to do. No, it does not clean the house for you.
The only regret I have is that I did not purchased it sooner. I suppose the covid thing made me purchase it (no thank you to A. Fauci). It just happened that when I purchased the purifier I was in the middle of my semi-annual deep cleaning of my bedroom. Deep cleaning means washing everything in the room, including the walls and the ceiling, mattress covers, blankets, curtains, drapes, anything that collects dust, and shampooing the carpet.I’d say, the room was 99% clean when I turned the air purifier on. I couldn’t really see any difference at first, because the room was clean to begin with, however, now the air is fresh in the morning, even after the whole night of breathing through the mouth and skin. Almost as if I opened the windows. That never happened before. Also when I opened the purifier to check on the filter, I can see that while it is clean, it did already picked up some fibers, mostly from the carpet. Had I not done my deep cleaning, I’m sure it would have picked up some dust as well.In conclusion, no, it will not do the house cleaning for you, you need to do the deep cleaning yourself (it’s a great excercise) and do regular dusting and vacuming as well, but it will definitely clean the air and collect some of the dust and fibers. Just remember to vacuum the filter with a clean brush every two weeks, or at least every three weeks.

Exactly What I Needed
After reading all the positive reviews on this air purifier, I decided to give it a try. The price is perfectly reasonable and I like the size of the unit. On the second day of using it, I notice the difference in the air quality in my apartment and it’s so much better.I live in a 1 bedroom apartment inside of a building with 5 floors, there are 10 apartments on each floor. It’s supposed to be a non smoking building and there are signs in the lobby and posted on every floor that ban smoking but people still smoke in the building. I’m a non smoker and one of my biggest complaints about living in my building is the smell of cigarette smoke in my apartment from other tenants. I share walls with other people and I can always smell when someone is smoking and I hate it. Other than cigarette smoke, people also cook very strong smelling foods and the odors can be overwhelming to the point where I need to open the windows in my apartment even if it’s zero degrees outside.This air purifier has made a significant difference in the quality of air in my apartment. No cigarette smoke, less disgusting odors from neighbors that I share walls with. I would recommend this item.

LEVOIT Air Purifier- 1095 SqFt coverage
2/10/2024 Initial Review:Received and set up the product. Be sure to read the instructions to understand how the product is supposed to be setup correctly.- The LEVOIT Air Purifier has a beautiful design and upon handling, felt sturdy and of high quality. (It wasn’t light and flimsy or wobbly).- I think it’s very important to use the manufacturer recommended filters as I noticed the non-brand replacements were of a slightly different measurement in which would result in a loose fit, therefore producing inferior results.- there are three fan speeds and the lowest speed is at a whisper level which means I can comfortably sleep while the air purifier. The sleep mode can barely be noticed.- Pay attention to the cleaning requirements which will be every two to four weeks, in order to extend the life of the equipment.That’s all I have to say on the first day. Happy!- I will revisit this page for a follow up review later on after 6 months.

My first Air Purifier!
As of the writing of this review, I’ve been using this for about 4 months.I am using this in my Bedroom and it’s on my bedside table.I’m very new to the whole Air Purification stuff and this Air Purifier far exceeded my expectations.I’ve been trying the get cleaner air for actually years now and never figured out how to do it.I struggle with sinus issues and I get triggered with the slightest dust or any pollution easily and take a lot of medication.I change bedsheets once a week.I wipe down every surface and vacuum three times a week but the air still didn’t feel and smell clean !This Air Purifier cleaned what I can’t see,THE AIR.I have this on auto mode and it seems my air is pretty clean now because it’s always on the lowest fan speed.I nerded out and really dived deep into finding the best air purifier for my needs, that’s affordable for both the machine and the filters and I found that this is the best.The filters aren’t that expensive compared to the other big name brands.As of right now, I have 31% remaining of my filter, and I plan on buying the other grades of filters Levoit offers. They have filters to fit your needs.As for energy consumption, this really doesn’t consume much energy when on the low setting.As for the size, please make sure you have the room for it haha. I didn’t measure and this thing is massive on my table, but this is my fault because I bought a purifier that’s for way bigger rooms than my own.Don’t forget to download and setup the VeSync App!It’s got really important info, you’ve got full control of the machine, and it also displays filter life and indoor air quality.This is FIVE STARS from me.Hope my review helps you!

Brilliant Addition to our Home
My wife and I researched a number of air purifiers for the home and chose this one based on its features and the amount of 5-star customer reviews it has received. Add our 5-star review to the list. This air purifier is everything we wanted and more. It is esthetically nice to look at, small and lightweight (we move it from room to room easily), and the app that keeps track of the indoor air quality is so helpful. For example, we had indoor air quality of 11 after cooking a meal, and it dropped to 1 just 30 minuted after running the air purifier. Oh, the app also provides instant outdoor pollen counts. Overall, a very wise investment!

Quiet
I have 4 cats, 3 litter boxes, 1 litter box in my room. The cats sanctuary’ is in my room 240 sqft. I didn’t buy this for odor control, but have noticed a cleaner smell in my area. I am very pleased that this air purifier does not have that irritating fan sound. Has 4 speeds which none are overbearing. Nite time speed is so quiet I have questioned if it was even on. High speed moves a lot of air but not with an irritating fan noise. I have mine sitting on table top, after a month of 24/7 usage, the filter showed a good bit of dust, cat fur, etc… The power lite on the top is not blinding. There is an option to turn off the illumination. I am very pleased and recommend. If u purchase remove the filter from plastic bag before using( I read some ppl don’t know to remove the filter from the plastic), also vacuum the filter frequently, and don’t use humidifier in same room, it will cause filter to grow mold ( pg 10 in owners manual).

I love the auto feature
I love the auto feature. I don’t have to guess. on several occasions the fan came on and the colors changed from blue orange green to red. depending how bad the air quality is Once it clears the air the fan lowers and goes back to auto It is very quiet. I have never used sleep mode and the machine is next to my bed on the night stand These are great air purifiers. I have a different brand in my house that has UV but there too much guess work on fan setting. i prefer the levoit I now have 4 in my house, different sizes

Buy it
This is amazing. Noticeable difference in the air after just an hour of turning this purifier on. I have two dogs and we occasionally smoke indoors. This purifier clears the smoke out within minutes. When the sun shines in, we can’t even see the beam shining through dust particles anymore. It helped clear out the smell of the curry we made for dinner one night too. Perfect for our 1,000sq ft apartment. I feel bad for my lungs for having to live the way they did before this purchase. It’s super quiet too, I have to pause my TV to make sure the purifier is still on. No regrets on this one.

Finally!!!
These things are awesome!! I got two of them, they help me sleep better and help with my sleep apnea/snoring. I keep mine on level 1, it’s very quiet, it’s all I need in my 12×14 room. I like that it has timer settings so I don’t have to turn it off when I’m done using it, because I only use it at night when I’m sleeping. The filter is very easy to change. Just a good product for the money, and it’s not huge like other ones 5/5

Just buy it
Honestly a great purchase. I now have three levoit air purifiers for my home. I don’t come home to a “scent”. Just clean air and with 4 cats and dogs this is a priority for me. If you have Alexa in your home I would highly suggest paying the extra for the “smart” air purifiers. The app is really great for these as well, you can see what the air quality is as well as the filter life and a plethora of other things. 20/10 do recommend.

Oh My God
This is a MUST buy! I will buy 2 more! Life changing fresh air and this thing is whisper quiet, yet doesn’t sacrifice on power. At its loudest it’s a comforting wind at its lowest it’s not even audible. The night setting is perfect for light sleepers and will still do the job keeping the room clean and crisp. I love the shape and style and even the size. We have this one directly beside the bed and are getting the best sleep of our lives lately. I smoke wax and just one hit will fully fill the room but In about 15 minutes this will clear the air (400sqft)! I recommend if you have ever wanted one that actually works!

It may have saved my life…
This gizmo definitely works, and it may have saved my life. Even as I speak, I’m here living thru the historic 2020 wildfires of Oregon & Washington and am situated in the Portland area where the air quality is currently the worst anywhere on the planet. Being in a 500 s.f. apartment on the top 3rd floor, I couldn’t escape some smoke getting into the apartment. It was beginning to cause headaches and generally just making me feel lethargic.So when the unit arrived yesterday at my Amazon locker, I rushed over to pick it up and couldn’t wait to plug it in. Following the instructions for smoke pollution specifically in initially working to mitigate the worst of the problem, I ran the unit at full speed for the recommended 20 minutes before turning the speed down a notch. Immediately upon turning on the unit, I could smell the scent of smokey air coming out of the exhaust fan; and because the airflow was concentrated, I could smell the smoke odor more readily than simply breathing the overall ambient air in the room.The smokey odor coming from the exhaust lasted for hours, or all night in fact. I got to the point where I thought it wouldn’t go away. But with that in mind, it’s important to remember that HEPA air cleaners are NOT necessarily designed to remove foul odors. So if someone in your house has stinky feet, or underarm odor, then probably DON’T expect this thing to do you much good.With that said, though, the fact that this unit has a carbon-activated filter, then it can help to remove smoke odors circulating directly in the air even if it won’t remove the odor of smelly feet. The long & short of it here, however, is that I finally just went to bed leaving the unit running all night for the next 8 hours. I had actually given up on the idea that I would stop smelling smoke odor coming from the exhaust fan.But lo & behold, it’s the next day here and the smokey odor is indeed gone! I can stick my nose right into the path of air coming from the exhaust fan and it smells fresh & clean.So the take on this, obviously, is that there was apparently just a LOT of very fine smoke particles inside the apartment; and as such, it took a good long time to ultimately filter it out after making dozens of passes through the filtration system. That and the fact that there is still some smoke entering the space on an ongoing basis, it took this little machine a lot of work to catch up to the problem and get ahead of it.No feeling of a headache coming on so far today. I woke up feeling like my old self again, just feeling energized after a good night’s sleep instead of feeling groggy & dopey from breathing in contaminated air all night.Now, whereas the listed “effective range” of the unit is only 219 s.f. and my apartment is 500 s.f., it also took that much longer to circulate the air a sufficient number of times to actually cleanse it. And there’s nothing much I can do about that personally, since I don’t have room for a much larger machine or even to accommodate two of these machines.As far as the noise level of the unit, it’s fine with me and even on the #2 speed setting is quieter than my stand-up oscillating fan. The #3 speed is fairly loud, but I’ll just be running it on #2 from now on anyway during the day.When I went to bed last night, I put it on #1 really just to help give the fan motor a rest, but not because #2 was too loud for me. And I haven’t actually used the sleep setting, because there’s no reason to right now anyway. So I can’t give an opinion on that.But all the same, I will leave this thing running FULL TIME until it either burns out or until this smoke finally goes away. Even then I’ll just leave it on the #1 speed indefinitely until it dies on me and then I’ll buy a new one.But I’m “sold American” on this thing! It works!! And you can ask anybody, because I don’t write many reviews (good or bad) on products I buy from Amazon. That’s my bad, because I should write more reviews than I do and the problem is that I’m just plain lazy.But I was certainly compelled to do my duty here and write a review on this machine. It’s a real lifesaver IMO…🤗

Cleaning air
I didn’t think this would make much difference with air, but having two dogs that pretty much take over the house it does. If the light is hitting just right you can see the particles being pulled in.

Cleans air in big room
No more antihistamines for dust mites! I have one in the living-dining room and one in bedroom.It’s about knee high and cute like R2-D2. Good white noise on level 1 for sleeping or watching tv.Level 2 is intermediate sound and 3 is turbo cleaning the air fast mode.No longer smelling litter box which is a big bonus!

Perfect for smaller areas.
Being winter time and having the house closed up the air gets funky. I looked for air cleaners and they were either to big or way to small.This is the size of 2, 1 gallon milk jugs stacked on top of each other. I hope that helps with the size of it.It works very well and its pretty quiet, I dont have any negative reviews.Definitely thumbs up.

Great smaller and affordable air purifier
I purchased one (white) to check them out. I now own 3 white and 1 black. They are quiet and do the job, whether just for dust and allergens, pet dander etc., or chemical fumes. I purchased pet filters for everyday (2 dogs, 1 cat) and the chemical fume filters for when there was staining and painting going on in one room, as well as for when we had a lot of forest fire smoke last summer.

Does what it’s supposed to

I appreciate the adjustable speeds and other settings, as well as the option to turn off the lights for nighttime use (which my fan does not offer). It arrived in excellent condition as well! Cat Odor Gone!
On a recent visit, I discovered that my granddaughter had 3 cats confined to her bedroom, along with their litter boxes, food, etc. The urine smell practically knocked me out even though she’d gotten use to it! She scoops daily too. I ordered this 300 Core unit and it was delivered in 2 days. She has a large bedroom, approx 350 sq ft. Within 30 minutes of operation, the cat odor was reduced significantly, and after 2 hours, my nose could not detect the slightest trace of any cat odor. We left the unit on constant operation. This was accomplished with the standard filter that came with it. I understand that there is also one for pet odor that I’ll order soon. I am so grateful that it worked! Thank you !PS. It’s practically silent on normal operation, so we didn’t try the Sleep Mode yet.

I like it
It was time to get a new room purifier and after a lot of research I decided on the Levoit. The setup was easy and it was up and running within a few minutes. The only thing I didn’t like about it was the first few hours it emitted a slight “plastic” smell that gave me a headache. When it comes time to replace the filter I’ll just let the replacement filter air out for a day or two before using it. Other then that slight negative from my experience I can say it works great and leaves the bedroom smelling fresh and clean.

I am in love with this purifier
So admittedly, this is my first delve into air purifiers, however i absolutely love this purifier. I got it before i got guinea pigs, but even then it was awesome and the filter it came with carried a light floral smell and made the room very pleasant to be in. For reference i live in a half underground basement with an outside door, though the door is only open about once a week. After i got guinea pigs i started purchasing the pet filter, which do an excelent job of filtering out the smell of their cage, even if it goes for more then a week without being cleaned. the filters are a tad expensive. Overall i absolutely love this air purifier. It stays on 24/7. Its a bit noisy, but i can sleep through anything so it runs on high.

Wish I’d known…
I like my Levoit Air purifiers…we ordered 2. I feel like they do help air quality. However, I wish I’d known, for aesthetic reasosn, that they basically need to sit out in the middle of the room. I was already thinking where I would place them….not in a corner but more out of the way. However…they aren’t to be within 5 feet of a heat source (vents on floor) or 15″ of a wall. We have 2 dogs and small grandchildren visit us frequently so that’s a concern.I kept seeing the online pictures of them sitting in awkward places, but thought that was just to highlight them. Didn’t realize they had to be somewhere like that. Any one have any suggestions of how to disguise them?

Nice Air Purifier
I got this for my 674 sq ft cottage home. I have this placed almost centrally located in the house, (which is in my living room.) I’ve used this product daily since I purchased it in November, and it’s constantly running on the first setting for 99% of the time. I have two dogs.I chose this air purifier because of a couple key features:Size: easy to blend in with house decor and is pretty aesthetically pleasing for an air humidifier.Low maintenance: Air filter lasts 6-8 months.Price: has a comparable price point with others on the marketBrand name: Levoit is a very commonly used brand for air humidifiers and purifiers. This brand offers multiple items that hold great reviews and high star ratings.Effectiveness: while running constantly on the first setting, it does a great job sucking the scent from the air wick out of the room. The living room feels somewhat less stuffy, but the rest of the house is mostly unchanged.While on the second and third setting I can feel a decent difference in smell and stuffiness throughout the house.Sound: in its lowest setting it is quiet, not quite as loud as a soft small fan. The highest setting sounds like an outright fan. I enjoy white noise while I sleep, and this is perfect for those who need or want background sound to fall asleep to.It’s roughly the size of a 12×20” oblong throw pillow for a relatively easy household reference.Overall I would repurchase this item again!

Great for my old, dusty house
This thing has been a godsend for me. I’ve tried all kinds of remedies to alleviate symptoms associated with the dust from my old home. I noticed a difference in just a few hours. I have both a cat and dog so bought a second for another room only a week later and was not happy to be paying $10 more for the exact same thing. Otherwise I’d give it five stars. We’ll see how the filters hold out over time. That’s the part that’s frightening when I could spend more on the front end and get a purifier that doesn’t require buying replacements at all. TBD.

Purify your room!
This purifier is great for small rooms needing some purifying! While it’s not small it’s also not big – kind of in between. I keep it on my night stand on the other side of my side of the bed. When I turn it on it is an obvious noise depending on the speed you put it on. I do turn it on when it’s dusty and when the air outside changes. I’m not sure if it truly does anything but it sure does make you feel like it. Be sure to clean it out!!

Take plastic off air filter
I got this air purifier when my 9-yo got Covid a few months ago. My husband likes to use it nightly. We had a skunk spray near our house, and the smell got ALL over. I set two of them up. I bought replacement filters and went to change them and realized I’d never taken the plastic off them when they arrived. I took the plastic off, and within one day, there is no more skunk smell. These purifiers are a bit loud, so I don’t know if they’d work for a classroom, but they have fast delivery, easy setup (if you know about plastic), and they seem to work really well.

It saved my job!
We were in an old, and what I call “sick” building. Came back from being off for a month, and I couldn’t breathe. I love my job and was thinking I was going to have to quit, because I absolutely could not work in those conditions. Thought I’d try an air filter. My desk was in a large open room, at the end of two halls, so didn’t have high hopes. Within 30 minutes of setting this up, I could breathe! Yay! I could hear the unit, but it wasn’t too loud. My desk mate loved it too. We moved to a new building, so I brought it home and now run it while I sleep. HIGHLY recommend.

These are the Best
I just ordered my second one of these, as my Mom needed mine worse than me. Then I realized I can’t do without one. They are reliable, efficient, and not too noisy, but most of all, they help clear up musty mold spores in that problem area. While I am still remediating my basement, it has definitely cut down on the smell. I run it full time and hope to one day not need to.
