Exactly what I was hoping for
I wanted to finally get a pair of nightstands to match my bed frame, but one never knows if it will work out right. Well, these turned out to be exactly what I wanted – pretty, sturdy, easy to assemble and matched my solid oak dresser too. I’m so pleased it worked out, and with a cost lower than other stores. Some had mentioned holes not lining up, so, tip: don’t screw in the legs so tight yet, it will give it some slack in order to align the bottom shelf and then tighten everythig up at the end.

Nicer than expected
These tables were a perfect match to our bed set and are very sturdy and well made. The same end tables were double the price at our local furniture store. Even the drawers are lined. Very happy with this purchase!

Very nice
I was a little concerned when I read reviews saying it was hard to assemble, but other than being a little heavy for me, I had no problems. Sometimes I get annoyed when “instructions” are only pictures, but I’ve also been totally confused by instructions that are spelled out and don’t make sense. After a couple of minutes of looking at the pictures (that initially left me clueless) I figured it out and it was very simple. You do have to loosely assemble in order for all of the holes to line up, but that was easy and then go back and tighten all of the screws. Very easy to do, even for a 79 year old female like me. Well worth the money and looks nice in my bedroom.

Ashley Realyn, Quality as expected, – damage
Ashley Realyn Nightstand. Like other reviewers, I found the nightstand arrived very well packed for shipping. Lots of foam with cardboard backing. But the back end of the bottom drawer is broken, likely due to the box with legs being stored in it without packaging in the drawer to keep the box from slipping/slamming around during delivery. Some wood glue and finishing nails should fix it, but it’s annoying to need to repair a new item. I viewed this model at the Ashley store, so I knew the expected quality (it’s not solid wood, but it’s not priced like solid wood either) and I got what I expected.You need to attach eight screws to assemble the legs. The screws and allen wrench to do this are included, so no tools needed and it only takes a few minutes. The price on Amazon (cymax) was cheaper than any other place I looked, including Ashley with military discount offer sale prices. Shopped through Rakuten for a little cash back on top and iin the end, I found t was definitely worth the price.

Holes are NOT misaligned per some reviews
First off this is a really nice antique looking nightstand. The construction and finish at least for me are all perfect. Assembly is pretty straight forward, just take your time and look over the pieces and bolts first, do a “dry” assembly without really assembling so you get everything in the right position.As far as misaligned holes on the bottom self that the legs go thru, they are not misaligned. The instructions tell you to turn the top upside down so you can put the legs on and it tells you to tighten them. The bolt to an angled piece of wood in the corners underneath the draw. Well if you tighten those, then try to put the bottom shelf holes into the pegs on the leg, they wont line up and there in lies the problem in which one person used their tools to make new holes. This is rough wood put together in a nice but inexact method. Tolerances can vary alot. So put the legs in the upside down top and then just screw the bolts in loosely so the legs are wobbly. Then put the bottom shelf holes into the pegs on the legs. It will go right in no problem. Then tighten the bolts at the legs tops and the bolts of the bottom shelf a bit each alternating between top and bottom until they are all tight. Its like anything else that you assembly, you dont tighten down bolts until everything is together, then you do going in a round robin pattern.The only issue is that it is top heavy and if on a good fluffy carpet is can and mine did tip over if you lean on the front slightly or open the drawer. But the give you little plastic shims to slide under the front feet which easily prevents this, so its not an issue, just giving you all a heads up. It really is a very nicely finished table, looks great, looks like the real McCoy, not just a cheap simulation. I love it!

Exactly what we wanted.
The nightstands are exactly what we wanted. They came packaged very well without any damage as that was a concern when we ordered them. The only thing to assemble is the legs, which was very easy. The stands are built well and has lots of storage space for a nightstand. The built-in outlets and USB ports are a nice bonus.

Minor Issues
I expected better quality control out of Ashley Furniture and maybe that was my mistake. This is one piece of a set that I ordered, and honestly the craftsmanship, fit and finish has left a lot to be desired for the limited amount of assembly that is required. To begin with 3 of the pieces that I ordered in this set (including this one) only required that you assemble the “feet” and put them on. However, the screw holes were never lined up appropriately for the assembly. I ordered two of these and faced the same issues with both. Even if the screw holes did line up, the feet would not go together and be flush at the joints. I am a carpenter and have the tools an know how to appropriately fix these issues, but a standard person probably would have to deal with the headache of trying to decide how they can get the pegs and screws to all go into their perspective holes at the same time and everything look as it should. I even had to cut one of the pieces of wood on the back side of one of the feet in order for them to even fit together. Other than the issues with the feet this nightstand is great. We really like the power outlet and USB connections that are on the back. The nightstands seem sturdy and are very pretty if you enjoy the style.As far as the delivery is concerned the 2 Amazon employees were polite and nice to deal with.

Well made- looks beautiful
We bought this night stand to complete the set of other furniture in our girls bedroom we purchased directly from Ashley. This dresser is very cute and has enough drawers so both girls can put things in their own drawer. The look is a “farmhouse” shabby chic look. Has held up well, and now completes the bedroom furniture. Would recommend Ashley.

Darn Near Perfect!
After reading reviews, I took a chance and ordered two of these to complete our master bedroom! As advised, most of the nightstand comes already assembled except for the legs! Safe to say I had zero problems regarding misalignment with the screws/holes like others! I think I spent more time unpacking them compared to assembly LOL! I love everything about these! Sturdy, solid and beautiful! I was close to paying more buying these off the actual Ashley’s website but I’m glad I got a steal purchasing on Amazon! Not only is it cheaper but shipping was fast compared to the same old crap story with “ships in months due to Covid!” The only flaw I found was a disconnected weld on one of the pull handles (shown in photo.) It’s not a deal breaker for me especially since navigation to Ashley’s customer support for ordering replacement parts was super simple and took but a few clicks to achieve! My new handle will arrive within 7-10 business days and I’m ok with that! Don’t think..just buy them!!!!

Wow! Perfection! Definitely the best box I’ve ever opened on amazon! This is quality you cannot find anymore! Especially for the price tag! Iwould buy this all over again just to unwrap it! Thank you ashley and your crew for restoring faith back to me that there are people left that have such high standards of quality and taste. Also have it affordable for everyone to enjoy!! You even lined the drawers with velvet! And I did not have to assemble anything!! The fact that you didn’t try to save more money through shipping that would require assembly!! Beautiful perfection if not damaged!!!
UPDATE: Got my two replacements today & they’re perfect! Happy camper! :)I ordered two of these night stands & THEY’RE BEAUTIFUL (I do wish the felt lining was in all three drawers instead of just the small top one….easy fix)! White & Brown two toned distressed vintage look w/ two USBs and two 3 prong plugs built in on the back. And I love that I can choose to put the bottom legs on them or just let them sit flat on the floor. Only one problem….both of them came damaged! I got them two days after ordering & the package boxes looked fine but after unboxing to set up, the bottom wood of both 2nd drawers were cracked while one of the nightstands also had the back wood of the 3rd bottom drawer completely detached from the other three walls. Amazon is sending me replacements. Fingers crossed that those aren’t also damaged!

Blends in well with my existing furniture
I was excited to get this nightstand, and it has the perfect amount of storage for my homemade greeting card supplies.The negatives are that the decorative pieces for the bottom of the stand were not attached, and I am not mechanical enough to know how to attach them. I believe the description of the stand online stated “fully assembled”. Secondly, none of the drawers close without great effort and it requires the use of both hands to push them all the way in. I’m hoping my son (who lives out-of-state) will, at some time, be able to attach the bottom pieces, and also do some adjusting to try to get the drawers to close without so much effort. I love the distressed wood appearance, and the size of the stand is perfect, so I will keep it and hopefully my son will be able to get it looking exactly like it’s pictured online, as well as improving the drawer situation.

Worth the $$$
Only reason I didn’t give a full 5 stars were as some of the reviews says the holes for the feet were not lined up properly. All it took my hubby to get them on was a little elbow grease. Other than that they are perfect! I was extremely worried because I read the reviews after I purchased(impulse buy). So if you are ok taking the risk then BUY THEM. These are $180 cheaper than Ashley Furniture!

Top Quality Ashley of course
What can I say. I ordered three pieces of Ashley stuff this year and all are beautiful and well made.They arrive with many layers of safety packing foam and cardboard to protect. Never had any damage with them. This nightstand is better looking than the pictures. The top has an inlay- looking border around the edge and wood looks real. Do not be afraid to order this item. The price was very excellent. I think this would be $499-$549 range in a furniture store. BTW, I am a very senior female and set it up alone easily, only the bottom trim needed to be attached.

I have the sleigh bed to this line and looked high and low to find the best priced one- Amazon has always beat the competition locally. It’s exactly what I thought it would be and what I wanted! Nice enough
Being Ashley furniture I wasn’t expecting too much, but the price was right and it’s the style I was looking for. The unit is pretty sturdy and the drawer hardware is smooth glide. Also, as another reviewer mentioned, there was water in one of the legs. Very strange, but easily remedied. I drilled a 1/4” hole in the top of the leg and the water drained right out. Guess it’s a left over from manufacturing?

It says arrived assembled but you Do have to do some assembly.
It’s a great nightstand and really nice piece of furniture. But the Amazon description says “ARRIVES ASSEMBLED: Ready for instant enjoyment” and there was no mention of any assembly instructions – but when it arrived – it comes with another box that contains the feet – so you do have to do some assembly. So I am just using it without the feet. I just checked some other websites like JCPenny for this furniture and they do clearly say you have to assemble and feet and they even have a pdf of assembly instructions. So I think Amazon just needs to be more clear on their website. But Amazon had a great price and it was delivered quickly and I’m very happy with this nightstand.

Perfect!
Super happy about the quality of this end table. It was packaged so well that no amount of man-handling would have damaged it. Foam bumper cubes surrounded it with extra styrofoam on all 4 sides. Couldn’t have asked for better packaging and quality for the price. Love the outlets on the back! Has 2 standard 2 prong outlets and 1 USB. I was originally looking for a table with the outlets hidden in the drawers, but couldn’t find a table in the dimensions I needed for the space. The charging outlets on the top/ backside of this table are a perfect design that I didn’t even know I’d prefer—because inside, the drawer would have to remain open.

Nice, but same issue as everyone
Am seeing the same type of review and photos as mine, so am not gonna regurgitate the same grip on this item. The actual nightstand is sturdy with no damages, however the legs seems to be the big issue for everyone. I called Ashley and should have replacement legs in the next 7-10 days, I will do an update to this review then.

You get what you pay for
I read the reviews before I purchased 2 of these night stands. I understood nearly every review complained that the bottom drawer was broken, which appeared to be an error in packing. I assumed with that many complaints Ashley or Amazon one would have corrected the issue. I was wrong. The first one came in perfect condition… except the USB plugs do not work, No power. And we had to drill new holes in the bottom to attach the legs. The existing holes were in the wrong spot. The 2nd one came with the bottom drawer broken. It can be glued back together, but we haven’t done that yet so it sits next to the bed in my new bedroom with the bottom drawer missing. The price was less than what I could buy them for in the local Ashley store, so….I guess it’s a choice!

Beautiful nightstand poorly manufactured
We bought 2 of these the first one was Very easy to assemble. Packaged very well. Sturdy piece of furniture. The 2nd one right side legs would not go together had to order a replacement. It was delivered today. Same issue with the right side leg. Holes are off for the pegs and the left leg cracked on this one. Not sure what to do now. Very disappointing. Would definitely expect better quality.

I like the appearance and color. Easy to assemble. I did have water in one of the legs. I think it comes from manufacturing process. I drilled 1/8” hole in top of leg and water drained out. Funny, weird, but not a reason not to buy.

Nice furniture
Very nice furniture and bigger than expected. Would recommend. Only thing wrong was that the bottom peices on one of our night stands didn’t match up with the holes to put the screws in. Thankfully my husband drilled hole and worked fine after that. Also the hardware peices were taped inside the drawers. One bag must of not been taped well and fell behind a drawer. The drawers do not come out so we had to reach back behind the drawers to get the hardware. Thankfully my daughter had a skinny arm to do so. Otherwise great and we love the look. I don’t blame this supplier as it was boxed and come from Ashley The supplier for this item delivered very quickly so I would recommend them.

I ordered this bedside chest awhile ago but because I like to see if I really like the product, I wait to give a review on things like this. I can honestly say that it is a great bedside chest. It has three large drawers that have all sorts of storage. My home is mostly French Country Farmhouse and this chest fits in nicely. It has 2 plugin cell phone slots which I use all the time. It also has a regular plug in the back of it. This chest has earned a 5 stars review.

These night stands are just beautiful. They are good quality, the perfect height. My bed mattress and base stands at 31” and these are just the right height being that they are taller than most nightstands. The color was a great contrast to my honey walnut furniture. Very complimentary in my bedroom. The price was worth it. It is sturdy and was easy to assemble. No damage during shipping, as it was well packed. Great purchase for me! The lamps on them are 18”, which are perfect as far as dimension for the nightstand. Got those on Amazon as well. It’s a great color against the nightstand.
