I was going to return one ball because it was deflated. Then I read the review that says to inflate it using a pump and needle, which I had from my mini yoga ball. It looks great now. Plus I have small hands so this size works better.

Theses balls work well for barre land class. However I use them in the water for Aqua therapy. They tend to sink but not an issue. The balks are holding up well in the water so far about 1 year.

Perfect for targeted PT

Great product! Perfect weight and I use during days when I don’t have formal Pilates reformer class. I was surprised when there was only one becuase they are typically sold as a set, but I didn’t read the description closely enough when I ordered.

These are a great accessory for Pilates work with my clients. I work with a lot of teenage dancers, and have found they respond better to using these as opposed to dumbbells. The weight is ideal for adding strength training into reformer exercises, but I will also place these on clients’ lower backs during four point kneel position to challenge hip stability. A tricky but great way to get them to learn about isolation and control. Would have purchased more if that shipping costs were not as high for sending to NZ. Thanks!

Great for toning arms at home

these two pound toning balls are great props that can make some exercises more challenging and others easier. they are not too heavy and about right for either sex, although generally speaking (forgive me for stereotyping) some men will prefer the heavier three pounders and some women will opt for the one pounders. when you’ve learned an exercise without the toning balls, it can increase the challenge and strength. for roll ups, when you want a heavier counter-balance, the balls will reduce the challenge and give you hope.

I use these as handweights for my Kung Fu/ Qi Gong practice.Great for rolling out the hips, spine, ribs, shoulders. I like it better than a foam roller or tennis balls or even racquetballs (which are a great lightweight option for travel!). Buy two!

I purchased two of these and they were both exactly the same weight. They fit perfectly into my hands (I’m an older lady with arthritis in my hands) and more comfortable than the hand weights I’ve been using for years. I didn’t care for the floor exercises, however, and I just made up my own exercises based on some of the videos I own. I’m very happy I took a chance on these weighted balls and I think they will last me a long time.
