Amazing quality. Still works after years of heavy use.
I first ordered these four years ago. That set has been on daily and they still work. They’ve dimmed a fair amount but that’s still amazing for how much time they’ve been used. I ordered them twice more to put in a different rooms. I’ve had them on for a few hours every day for 2 years or so and they’re still fairly bright. I’m about to order a new string to replace the original. These things are so reliable for such a reasonable price. Best purchase I’ve ever made on Amazon.

Best LED dupe for traditional, filament style strand lights.

I have purchased more than a lifetimes worth of LED string lights and in the end, have always returned them. To me, there is just no LED comparison to the cozy, romantic glow of your traditional incandescent bulb.However, my family’s push to be a little more conservative with electrical use has put me on the never ending search for a “greener” setup above my computer. For almost two years (That’s when my final strand of traditional string lights died) I have lived with a dull office. I couldn’t stand the sterilized bright white color of the newest LED string lights, and if that wasn’t the problem, then there was this constant flicker that would, for some reason, trigger my migraines.Time after time I was tempted by the cheaper price of traditional string lights, but was determined to be more responsible. After getting the urge once more, I came to Amazon and continued my search for the impossible. The perfect, warm white, LED string light.I came across these and noted that I hadn’t ordered them before. They came with your typical yellow edited image that all the others have, to hide the fact they’re actually soft white. I was skeptical, as always, but purchased the 200 count LED strand anyway.They arrived in great condition, neatly wrapped and organized. They had quite a bit of heft to them which was impressive. I took them to my dark bedroom to plug them in, having every intention of being disappointed then having to make a return trip to the post office the next day. Into the outlet they went and when the lights turned on, I was left speechless.I had to do a double, no! triple take. They were absolutely beautiful. I then began to search high and low for a flicker. There was none to be seen. I almost let out tears of joy (and I mean that). I couldn’t believe it. Finally, after two years, I found the closest and most ideal replacement for my warm white incandescent string lights.Now, they obviously don’t have that deep glow of a hot, amber colored filament, but the color they cast is warm, soft, and romantic. It appears that the color is from the actual diode it self, as the cover, or cap, on them is clear and not colored to appear yellowed. Shown in the photos I posted.It has several features such as a twinkle, slo-glo, combination, and waves. Just to name a few. Each one, beautiful and work as described. There is even a convenient label on the actual power box that tells you which functions there are, also photographed.I included a video of what I believe to be the “Twinkle” mode.The connectors allow for multiple strands to be joined and are incredibly user friendly as well as functional. It has a threaded sleeve that prevents the connector from being yanked out which is also labeled according to the polarity (+ or -) for which direction it is to be plugged in, also shown with pictures.I’m not an expert on lights, but the LED’s included in these look different from most others I’ve used, where as they have a much longer sleeve or shaft that connects the diode to the wire, as shown.The lights are sturdy and feel very well made. They are surprisingly heavy and each one lit up perfectly. There is an excess remainder of wire that contains no diodes that allows you to hang or run them fairly far away from a power source, although this would probably be a minor hindrance if you were planing to combine several strands as you’d be left with a long portion of unlit wire to try and hide. This worked to my advantage, however.I will 100%, no doubt, be reordering these. Please, for the love of everything do not change anything about these strand lights. I was blown away, by not only the color, but the actual quality that are in these lights. Truly, one of my best purchases from Amazon.

No lock on your favorite twinkle
We used these lights to illuminate the ceiling of a covered screened in porch. Pros: Warm white light was perfect brightness and color for our taste. No garish bluish tone. Length of cord between plug and first bulb was super long (6 feet or more.) Cons: Remote control is positioned along cord approximately 8 inches from plug – NOT handy to find/use/affix to a wall, etc. Finally, the reason I would look for a different string next time. There is no way to “lock” twinkle pattern on your preferred pattern or simply constant on. Eight pattern options mean you must click through every pattern to turn the lights off. I didn’t realize how annoying this would be!We’re keeping the lights because the sale price was good, we’ve already got them all affixed on the ceiling (we used command clips), and they ARE cute.

Blue Lights are Amazing

I highly recommend this product. There are several settings and the attached video runs through each of them. There is a button on the plug where you can set it to your favorite one. These are really great for a Christmas tree, I would imagine, but I’m using them on my deck and I love it. Pro tip: do not unwrap it all at once. I purchased the 100 feet string, and like a jackass, I untwisted all of the twisty ties before I hung it. Do not do that. I ended up with a giant light string dreadlock that took me 20 minutes to unravel. It is tied up so that people don’t make this mistake. Save yourself the headache and do it in sections. The wires are transparent and very lightweight and dainty, but the lights put out a lot of beauty and illumination. Get them.

I cannot review these highly enough
I’m moving out of my apartment after 3 1/2 years – I bought these when I first moved in, and they are still going strong. Perfect. I have them on every day. I’ve never had an issue with flickering, and not one light has gone out. I had three sets – two for my living room and kitchen and one for my bedroom, all strung along the top of the wall, below the ceiling. They provide a lovely, relaxing light. Order them now!!

Beautiful!
I bought these for my classroom just to make it fun and happy. They are beautiful and warm! The cord was a little thicker than I expected! I was impressed with the length, often I feel things do not meet their description..omg so many lights! Perfect! Came with no instructions though so no idea how to set timer and I could have sworn they were supposed to have a remote. I could be wrong.

Wire was broken in multiple places
There were two places where the metal end of the wire had come out of the twinkle light. One I was able to push back into the light connection, but the other I wrapped with electrical tape. Don’t really want to go through the hassle of returning since it does still work and I got it on a deal. I gave it one more star because I do like the multiple settings and length. But quality control is off, and potentially dangerous with exposed pieces.

Twinkle mode

Did a lot of research to find some twinkle lights for my tree these are really great. Only con is the wire is clear, from the picture it seemed like the wire was green. because of this you have to hide the wire throughout your tree or it will be noticeable. I used I set for my 9 ft tree because my tree was already pre lit.

Quite a Few Bulbs Not Working
The color, brightness and different modes are really nice but after I strung them through my mantle greenery I noticed quite a few of the bulbs weren’t lit up. I hadn’t noticed it when I plugged them in to check they worked initially. That was a pretty big bummer.Like others have mentioned, if you have them plugged into a timer outlet the mode will reset each time when they turn back on so I immediately had to remove that attachment and plug the strand directly into the AC adapter to stay Steady On. That seems to be the norm for string slights with the different mode settings that I’ve seen though.

This is a great light set and the settings are pretty cool. Easy to switch in between lighting styles. The only downfall is how yellow the light is. I have always used warm white lights and never had any that glow this intensity of yellow tone before.

Nice looking but also fragile
If you are gentle with these they are a nice set of lights. Pull them through or string them through any obstacles and the wires will separate from the lights. They are tack welded only lightly to each bulb. They are decent aside from this.

Great fit for me, plus seem flexible for most cases.
I bought the 66ft version in “Warm White”. The plug is a transformer and plug that are connected with a plastic screw (see the plug pic), then there’s a black mode controller that acts as an on/off switch. The mode controller includes 8 modes, most of which are various blinks / slow fades. I honestly just leave them on the steady on mode lol. There is 17 feet of connective cord between the plug and the start of the string lights (the string lights are 66ft). That’s probably great if you are setting up in a venue, or have to plug in across the room. The end of the string lights has a connector for another string of lights, and you could buy multiple boxes of these if you need that. The lights are the perfect level of brightness and warmth, so I’m happy with these! I have most of the lights behind my bed, but I have a bunch of extra length wrapped around my headboard.The only thing that would make these awesome would be a little remote controller or app, but I also like this price point and would rather manually turn them on than pay any more.

Brilliant & bright

We purchased 4 boxes, 3 are the 100 led (33ft) & 1 of the 200 led (66ft). They’re bright & a brilliant blue. There’s 8 settings (we used the wave combo). We have 2 strands of the 33ft on our tree. And we went all the way from front entrance around front of house & back with the 66ft.Only downfall is the controller for the lights (it’s attached to strand near plug) is not weatherproof, so the one at the tree I had to figure a way to protect it from rain.

Pretty and Easy to Use

We have a 7ft pencil tree that came pre-lit but stopped working this year, so we purchased the 30ish warm white set of these lights and so far so good! They’re very flexible, the string itself is clear, and the glow they give off seems more spherical if that makes sense. Almost like fireflies twinkling in the branches. I think we like the slow blink setting the most but the controller makes it easy to switch between them all. I’m thinking of using these elsewhere outside of the holiday season because I like them so much lol

Very Surprising!
Very Surprising in a good way! When I saw how these were packaged, I was definitely concerned. My pre-lit slim tree, I have been in love with definitely died 🙁 well the lights did at least. I didn’t want to buy a whole new tree so I bought two pack of these for my 7.5 ft tree. I absolutely did not need two packs, but I bought them anyway because I light extra lights. It looks amazing! I could not have been happier, and the dimmer is a great feature to have. LOVE!

So far so good, remote needs better range
My daughter has a larger bedroom so I had to find a string light that was long enough, at at 66 feet this does the job. I like the long leader wire before the first light so there are no lights between wall plug and ceiling. Pretty solid white and solid pastel colors are her favorites – she hated the flashing functions. Only downsides are there are only 6 and 8 hour settings – a 4 hour would be more useful for a bedroom. Also you have to stand within 5 feet of the plug before the remote will function. Very bright so you will be glad of the dimming function.

Twinkle lights have a flaw
Pros: These lights have a nice dimming feature. However, the brightest setting is not very bright. Still could be used in a child’s room as a night light at one of the lower settingsCons: these twinkle lights do not twinkle. They are simple in an on or off position. Secondly, there is no timer on the unit and they will not work on a timer that you purchase because you have to push button start them. That kind of throws the convenience of plugging them in on a timer for my tree and I’m having to reach behind the tree to turn them on. I did buy them as a vac up light to my regular lights for additional sparkle but I wouldn’t buy them again due to this inconvenience. I’ve attached a pic of my tree with only this light on. The pic actually looks brighter than they appear in person.

Great lights!
This package of lights was perfect for an 8’ pencil tree. The color is a true warm white without being yellow. I like that they don’t have an automatic timer as I like to keep my tree lit most all of the time. I initially thought a remote was included but after rereading the instructions I discovered that the button to change the effects is located on the plug, which is also preferable to me because honestly I have enough remotes to keep track of the way it is ha ha. This is a really long string of lights to work with, and I did have them tangle on me a couple of times. However, the wire is more “slippery” than the usual green ones so I was able to get it separated without too much trouble. It remains to be seen how long they last, but I’m hopeful they will last awhile like other LED strands I have. I’m finally over replacing regular lights after they burn out after one season. These have the same glow as regular lights without looking too cool toned or fluorescent. I’m very satisfied so far!

Very pretty and bright!
I bought these to go under the edge of my garage and around the side of my house. I have yet to put them up for Christmas, but when I plugged them in, they were very bright and pretty. They are not warm and yellow, but more of a blue-white. Once I hang them and see them outside of the bundle they came wrapped in, I will post an update. I can say mine did not come with a remote, they came with a little wall plug box with the button on it. I was curious about the remote, and wondered if the extension with the button and little box could serve as the remote, so I unscrewed it and screwed the lights directly onto the outlet plug, leaving the extension off with the button. If that makes sense. That didn’t control them, so I suppose I will just have to turn them off manually, which I’m fine with. I guess it will give me time to see how long they really last since I sleep a lot and work long hours. I can check on them from my home cams. Excited to see what they look like and if they withstand the weather here in FL.

Wish they were electric versus battery operated
I ordered two sets of 100 twinkle star lights, and after struggling to untangle the strings of lights, I successfully trimmed my 3.5 foot Christmas tree. Each string required 3 AA batteries, and I purchased name brand Duracell batteries, and used the remote’s timer feature to have the lights on for six-hours each evening (the only length of time available on the remote). After two weeks, the lights began to dim although the information included indicated that battery life would be much longer. The lights continued to dim each evening after the first two weeks. I’m curious if anyone experienced this problem, or if someone can recommend a different battery brand? While battery operated lights provide greater flexibility in using the lights, I would prefer electric for more reliable lighting. Replacing 6 batteries after two weeks can be quite expensive.

Lasted 4yrs/4 use
Bought it 2019. I only use it for Christmas decor for about a month each time. This year (2023) it won’t light up. It was just in the storage. Used it 4 times in total. Did the job for a little bit but I would imagine it would last longer since I stored it properly and do not use it everyday.

Invisible clear cord! Easy to untangle
I hung 2 of these strands in our fully grown birch tree branches. I hit only the trunk and few lower branches all by myself. It was difficult to hang onto the whole bunch of lights with one hand and wind around a tree limb on a ladder but the second strand I unwrapped the whole bunch in the grass then re-wrapped on a piece of cardboard which made it easier to hang onto and the whole bunch didn’t come apart on me. These lights are serene on our quaint patio at night. Perfect brightness! Great warm white light..not glaring white.

Connecting cord is a little short
The light is very white, almost blue compared to my warmer lights. I used on a very full Christmas tree, and had to readjust it a couple of times, but it works. The cord between the lights and wall socket is only about 3 feet long, so make sure you either have an extension or that it’s close to the wall. If not, you might prefer battery powered. I like the push button because we already lost the remote. I use it together with some 3” warm fake battery powered candle lights with clip ons. It balances out the coolness of the fairy lights.

Must use the included transistor
At first use it looked as if only half the lights worked. Only after penning and testing another set that the secondary part that includes the blink settings MUST be attached in order for all of the lights to work. Poorly written instructions on the box were not at all clear on this. Other than that the lights are great!

They look great!
The lights are amazing! I put them on a grapevine tree on my porch. I was especially happy with the lead wire, allowing me to get rid of the extension cord to the outlet.

Nice warm glow
The media could not be loaded.
It gives off a very nice warm, cozy glow. I bought these to try because other ones I bought in the past haven’t lasted very long and they started blinking when I had them on the stationary setting. I am hoping these will last longer and not start acting crazy lol

BUYER BEWARE. ACTUALLY 66ft, NOT 83ft
After spending my time hunting down which lights I would like and measuring how many feet I would need, I decided to go with the twinkle star lights because it seemed like the perfect compromise between price and quality.I ordered three sets of 83 ft lights thinking I would get a total of 249 ft of lights…. Enough for what I wanted to do.I opened all three boxes, and the quality seemed better than what was advertised. Every bulb worked, I could connect the strands with ease, there was plenty of ” excess” cord between the wall plug and the first light on the strand, they looked completely weather proof, and I could disconnect the wall plug from the strands I wanted to connect together easily.I was completely satisfied, and thought I found a better deal than I was expecting. I put up the three strands of lights, and it was much shorter than I thought it was going to be.I thought I did something wrong. I took down the lights and re-ran them tighter but still ended up quite short. I ordered three more boxes to have plenty of excess for future years of Christmas lights because I was so happy with the product.WHEN THE NEXT ORDER ARRIVED, I REALIZED THAT I HAD RECEIVED ALL 6 TOTAL BOXES AT 66 ft IN LENGTH INSTEAD OF 83 ft.The lights are great, but if I knew that they were only 66 ft I probably wouldn’t have ordered them for the price that I paid. I will update my review if I receive two more strands to compensate for the additional 102 feet of lights that I paid for.DO NOT BE TRICKED BY THE FALSE ADVERTISING. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE 83 ft AS EXPECTED. This is the first time that I have not been able to trust a product description on Amazon. I sincerely hope that they make this right.Update: Despite the inaccurate feet of lights listed, I do really like these lights. I’ve had them two years and they have withstood the rain flawlessly. The seller did send me more lights. They connect to each other easily and the excess cord is detachable and comes in very handy when running the lights to the outlet or across open areas. I only wish they would advertise clearly that you would only get 66ft of lights. With the quality of the product, I have changed my mind and I would recommend them for this price.

Very lasting
I purchased these back in 2022, i have NOT turned them off at all what’s so ever & they have not given up on me!. They are a lot dimmer now because of that, but still going strong. About to order another set. 😌 definitely recommend!!!!! ☺️

Neutral white not warm
These lights are beautiful. They aren’t a cool white but they definitely aren’t warm. I need warm lights to match with others so they’re being returned, but these would be great if you need a neutral white (more daylight than cold/warm). I wish they made them with a warmer glow. Love the adjustable brightness on these too.

Great product
I have strung these lights in my classroom and have gotten over three years of use and they have been plugged in most of the time. They are amazing. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. I even bought another two because of how awesome these lights are.
